Clean & bright. In real-life it's nicer than the photos. Lovely Hosts. Nice outside space with table and chairs and a washing line. Take your own shower gel and hand wash. Pleasant 15-20 minute stroll along the river to the town. The price was good and reflected what you received.

Excellent property for our short break in Bergerac - we especially loved the quiet location, with a very enjoyable 20/25 minute walk along the river in to the old town. The small terrace area outside with table and chairs was perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or a chilled glass of wine in the evening. Plenty of hot water for showers, washing up etc. Marina is a charming host and was helpful and accommodating. The apartment was super clean and well presented, with comfortable bed. Don't forget you have to pay extra locally for provision of bath and hand towels. We would return to this property. An excellent property, well priced.

We loved the superb location by the Dordogne. Our host Marina was very welcoming and even allowed us to check in early. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. The outside space was a bonus in the warm evenings.We felt very comfortable and thoroughly appreciated the peace and quiet of our apartment and location.

“Perfect home from home within easy walking distance of the old town”

I loved this place as it suited my needs - I wanted somewhere within easy walking distance of the old town (crazy small streets that are full of life but noisy so didn't want to stay centrally), with private secure parking and with self-contained facilities. Chez Laurent had it all! As the lower floor of a modern house, it was super cool all day and night (perfect as it was 30 degrees when I was staying) but still had big windows you could open for light or air. The parking space was huge and there was a lovely outdoor table with chairs that I used. The kitchen was very well fitted out and the best thing was a few coffee pods for the Senseo machine were provided. It's so frustrating when you have to buy coffee for just two days and every place has a different machine! A brilliant place to stay - I highly recommend it.

The property was the ground floor of a detached house 15-20 minute stroll into Bergerac. The kitchen was well furnished with utensils and crockery. The was a patio table and dining chairs outside. Would certainly go again.
