This charming, family-owned hotel is set in two late 19th-century buildings by Bergen’s Nygårdsparken. The second building is across the street from the main building. It offers personal service and an interesting antique collection. WiFi is free. Hotel Park Bergen’s rooms are individually decorated and furnished in a classic style. All have cable TV, wooden floors and a private bathroom. A basic breakfast with cold items is served every morning. Staff can recommend local restaurants for lunch and dinner. Grieg Hall is 300 metres from Park Bergen Hotel. It is home to Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the world's oldest orchestral groups. The UNESCO-listed Bryggen waterfront district and the popular Fløibanen cable car are within 15 minutes’ walk.

We liked it's location, a 20mins walk from the centre. Our room was clean spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was beautifully presented and tea, coffee and delicious brownies were available all day. We loved the decor and atmosphere of the hotel.

Has the ambience of a guest house rather than a hotel. Located 10-15 minutes walk from the centre, up a moderate hill, but this means it is a quiet residential location and with views of the city. Room was large, spacious and very comfortable. Antique furnishings in the room and around the hotel. Breakfast was buffet with a good selection, and a relaxed atmosphere and attractive room. Helpful staff. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful historic buildings, which were tastefully and interestingly decorated. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location - quiet area yet easy to explore the city's many attractions.

A really nice stay at the Hotel Park. Very friendly helpful staff. A large comfortable bedroom well laid out with a large settee (room 18) with great views out of the window..especially at night when everything was lit up. Hotel is slightly out of the city centre and up a hill in a nice residential area. We didn’t mind the walk as it wasn’t too far and the area was very quiet. The breakfast choice was excellent with a large variety and of good quality and served in a small breakfast room which was beautifully decorated with old furniture and ornaments. Chocolate Brownies left in reception for guests were a nice touch.

Super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and very friendly and helpful staff. Quite convenient location, not too far to walk into Bergen centre - about 20 minutes.
