Situated right on the shore of the Starnberger See lake, this family-run hotel enjoys a peaceful setting away from traffic, while offering quick access to Munich. “Great place for a relaxing holiday.”
Great location. Breakfast was very good. Staff were more than happy to help at all times. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Close to the ferry as well, which was a bonus. The lake is stunning, water was clean and warm. Very nice atmosphere on the little bank close to the hotel. Great place for a swim. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Schloss Berg.

I loved the place, from the location to the breakfast. Also the facilites are really nice and the wellness center is included in the booking. We rented 2 electric bicycles and it was the best choice of the weekend, we went for biking around the lake and it was beautiful. Last but not least, credits to the recepcionist who was really nice to us everytime.

“If I knew how the rooms and service are 100% I would have chosen other hotels in the neighborhood.”
The only good point is that the location is within walking distance of the beautiful lake (hilly area, so only good choice is to get there by car/taxi- no shuttle available). the E-Bike facility can be rented to enjoy nature (although with additional charges of 35 Euros per day).

“Sweet place if you ignore the staff.”
Nice and spacious rooms with balconies and bathtubs. Pretty good breakfast as well for such a small place. Cute (staff) dog chillin in the lobby every day (maybe not a perk if you are allergic)
