This family-run hotel enjoys a strategic location near the pedestrian area and spa gardens of Berchtesgaden, one of Bavaria’s most popular winter sports destinations and health resorts. Beautiful views of the mountains, beds were also comfortable. Furniture a little dated but I found that to be part of the charm. Breakfast was also good.

Our lovely suite with a balcony was fabulous and allowed us the best views in Berchtesgaden! The breakfast was great with a tremendous choice for all diets and the parking was just across the road so was ideal.

We had a superior room which overlooked the front of the hotel and the mountains in the distance. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean.

“Beautiful view from a slightly outdated but very comfortable hotel”
Despite the outdated interior, the room was sparkling clean and really comfortable. The view from our balcony was stunning and the breakfast buffet was also quite lovely. The staff were super friendly and the location was also perfect for exploring the town and the surrounding nature.

“Nice place with great breakfast!”
Nice stay. From our room can see mountains. We took a bus to lake Konigsee. Breakfast was awesome. Pls check which bus to take to the hotel if you are carrying luggages. We took a bus from Salzburg , got down and walked 20mins to reach the hotel instead of taking another bus. My advice is -take a bus instead of walking up with luggages.

The views were amazing! It had a historic feel to it that felt authentic to the region. It was also close to a number of shops and restaurants. Overall, we were very happy during our stay at this hotel.

“doable for 1-2 nights when you want to see the berchtesgaden, but not for a relaxation trip”
the staff was really friendly and i loved the breakfast - they also had glutenfree bread available , i also loved the pool to swim my laps before breakfast

“I have stayed here a number of times over the years and never been let down, thank you for a pleasant stay.”
Great location and close to old Berchtesgaden and train station. The hotel is immaculately presented, well laid out breakfast. Added bonus an indoor swimming pool and a sauna (small cost). The staff very helpful and friendly.
