“Lovely stay”

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Didn't get to walk into the town due to it pouring with rain, but the lovely helpful receptionist called us a taxi. Also she recommended some good restaurants to try. The taxi driver also recommended The Golden Bear which is where we chose to go. It was wonderful. Easy parking just outside, ideal for our sports car. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. Room lovely, didn't find the glass door to bathroom an issue as it is frosted and wc is set back. Would definitely stay here again. Took a walk to the salt mines. Was lovely to see. Would have liked longer to visit the town. We will have to return. Would definitely stay here again.

“Fab hotel”

The sauna! Exactly what we needed after a day riding motorbikes in the rain and cold! Monika was very welcoming and helpful. She offered us a place to park our bikes out of the rain, and organised the sauna for us. Berchtesgaden is a beautiful village to walk around 😍 breakfast was amazing 😋 plenty of choice, and all delicious.

The breakfast served by the pleasant owner and her team is the best in Europe. No exaggeration.

The hotel was modern, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rooms were cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was very generous. Bozica and Monika were excellent hosts, organised, attentive and happy to help with any queries.

We loved that the hotel has been modernised, while maintaining its traditional charm. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast selection. The as opportunity to have breakfast on the terrace, in the sunshine, was a bonus. We had an amazing view from our balcony and whilst location was a bit out of the centre, it was still an easy walk.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel with lovely staff-we were upgraded to a room with a gorgeous view of the mountains-modern rooms but very small about a 10 min walk to the old town

Great service from the lady at the reception who explained everything so clearly and gave good recommendations. She even extended the sauna hours for my wife! Amazing view of the Watzmann mountain from the balcony. Very comfortable stay. Buffet breakfast was really yummy, and there was a good spread of everything.
