Overview
Offering great views of the Berchtesgaden mountains and Kehlsteinhaus chalet, a spa with indoor pool, and a spacious garden, this family panoramic hotel lies in the quiet Oberau district of Berchtesgaden. Each room at the traditional-style Alpenhotel Denninglehen features satellite TV, and a private bathroom. Nearly all rooms include a balcony. Wellness facilities at the Denninglehen include a modern sauna and solarium. A Kneipp footbath is available in summer. There is also a terrace with a sunbed and mountain views, as well as an indoor pool. The Rossfeld ski slope is just 200 metres from the property. Varied breakfast buffets are prepared at the Alpenhotel. Guests can relax beside the fireplace or on the terrace overlooking the Berchtesgadener Land countryside from the hotel's ideal position 900 metres above sea level. The Denninglehen is ideal for activities including hiking and skiing. The Berchtesgaden Golf Club is an 8-minute drive away. Lake Königssee is 20 minutes away by car.

“Quiet and magnificent view”
The room with the balcony has a great view. Breakfast has a wide variety of sweet and savory. The room was spacious and included a minibar. It also has a bar and is a very cozy space.

We stayed here to explore Konigsee. It is a clean well managed hotel with wonderful helpful staff. They spoke english and very kind . Room was spacious and comfortable . Also great views down the valley

“The Perfect Austrian Adventure”
This Hotel is absolutely incredible, we spent 5 nights here as our base in Bavaria as it was central to our needs, the facilities, rooms, restaurant, lounge and the outdoor seating area are all amazing, the views are breathtaking and the whole experience is one we will treasure forever. Thank you so much to Rico, Eva & Karen you made our stay so special and are a credit to the hotel. The traditional dress is beautiful and the way this family owned establishment is run is so genuine, service and standards are top notch and as someone who works within the refurbishment of hotels I am not easily pleased, but this place gets a solid 9 out of 10. Thank you all once again and we shall miss you and this hotel very much.

The breakfast was amazing!!! Eggs to order were delicious and the variety of fresh fruit was impressive. Dinner was equally amazing. I had salmon one night and steak the next and both were delicious!!

We were so impressed with this beautiful hotel on top of the hills and its super friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the pool and sauna, the extensive breakfast buffet, the mouth-watering dinners, but, most of all, those views that make your jaws drop over and over again. Highly recommend!

“Comfortable mountain hotel for relaxation”
A wonderful place with a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains. Friendly staff, clean room. A good selection of food for breakfast, the restaurant offers delicious dishes for lunch and dinner.
