We had a wonderful time at Villa Darla during our vacation in Albania. Everything was just perfect the room was cozy, clean, and peaceful, and Mrs. Darla is simply the sweetest host you could wish for. She made us feel at home from the very first moment! Breakfast was absolutely delicious fresh, local products and even quail eggs, all straight from her own garden. Everything was healthy, homemade, and full of love. We also took a selfie together with Mrs. Darla we really wanted to have a memory of this lovely lady and her beautiful B&B (unfortunately I can’t attach the photo here!). We’re so happy we chose Villa Darla and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Beras. Thank you, Mrs. Darla, for your kindness and hospitality you made our stay unforgettable! 💛

“Great place to stay 👌”

Everything was great! The room was clean and comfortable, everything is within walking distance, the breakfast was delicious, and the host was very friendly. There is no parking, but we parked our car nearby, about a 7–10 minute walk away in a free parking area. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

“Great place to stay”

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Darla. Every day we were served a fresh breakfast, and the host was very caring and friendly. The location of the accommodation was excellent, and we would definitely recommend it. There is a paid parking lot about 10–15 minutes away, which costs €3 for 24 hours.

Lovely room, fabulous breakfast on an out door terrace. Be aware this is up a cobbled street which was fine for us.

The stay at Vila Darla was truly wonderful. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, always attentive and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, and the terrace is absolutely beautiful – the perfect place to enjoy the view over the city, soak up the sun, or spend a cozy evening playing games like Kniffel, which are even provided. The rooms are charming and rustic, perfectly matching the character of the old town, and they are fully furnished and equipped with everything you could need.

“Cute villa in a great location and lovely host!”

We loved our two night stay! Darla was so helpful and kind, had a lovely homemade breakfast each morning on the terrace. Room was very comfortable, super comfy bed and pillows, AC, bar fridge, and great location! Up some cobble streets in the old town.

Our stay at Villa Darla was absolutely amazing! The location is so authentic — the best way to experience Berat. At first, we went across the river to check other apartments, even more expensive ones, but honestly, there was nothing good compared to Villa Darla. Choosing this place was by far the best decision we made! Here, you get a real, local, authentic experience — more than anywhere else in Berat. The location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful, and we were honestly impressed with how clean everything is — Darla takes amazing care of her home! We also met her husband, an amazing guy who offered us wine, nargila, coffee — everything you can imagine! We felt so welcome and comfortable. We’re 100% sure we’ll come back to this city, and Villa Darla will be our first choice again. It made our time in Albania truly unforgettable. If you’re checking apartments in Berat — believe me, this is the BEST CHOICE!

“Excellent”

The host, Darla, is an absolute sweetheart. She’s very friendly and warm, which made us feel right at home and very comfortable. The location is great (we had a bit of trouble finding it at first because we took the wrong road). Having breakfast included is a big plus — you can enjoy your meal with a stunning view. The rooms were spotless. In the evening, we grabbed some drinks and spent time enjoying the balcony view. I definitely recommend this place!
