Our stay in this traditional historic house was truly special. The place carries so much heritage, every stone, every corner seems to speak history and old stories. You can feel the energy of the past in the most natural and beautiful way. The hosts were exceptionally polite, warm and knowledgeable. Their culture, their manners, and the way they shared insights with us made the whole experience even richer.

The husband and wife who owned the property were very kind to let us leave our bags at the property before our check in time and after our check out the following morning. They offered us tea and coffee, and were very friendly. You can see their passion in the work they're doing! The room was beautiful, and the location is stunning, embedded in the old town.

The rooms had a modern take on the restoration of the historical Ottoman Influence. I loved the passion for Albania as shared by the information displayed at the property but also leading up to it. The views were incredible and we enjoyed exploring the cobblestone streets. It's not for anyone with accessibility challenges.

This is a most beautiful house in the medieval centre of Berat. It was very special to be in this authentically renovated place . The hosts at Buri guest house are very welcoming and know all about Berat. Very helpful towards finding a restaurant too . A most fabulous experience

Family managed guest house, in the old part of BERAT. Very charming, very clean, well equipped, and amazing view over the town. The strong point of the house is that the family has put all its heart to preserve the old architecture and decoration of the house and share its old history with the guests. The family was very welcoming and helpful. Our staying was perfect.

The hospitality of the owners was great. The room was really nice, clean and the climate inside was perfect. We slept really wel. Also the owner has a lot of knowledge about the history and the city, as the guesthouse is also a museum. Perfect location and ambiance. 10/10!

Professor Sasan Guri and his wife have turned the house he grew up in, in a true gem. It is beautifully decorated with the best knowledge about Albanian culture you will encounter in Albania. Maria is also very kind and caring and made sure we were very comfortable. It is a beautiful stay and very kind hosts, absolutely recommend it!

“Very nice stay in the heart of Berat”
Great view in the heart of Berat, the owners are wonderful and very welcoming. The house is very charming and there are many nice restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended
