We were traveling from Thessaloniki to Berat and stopped along the way at this villa in a village. The location turned out to be incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and truly special. Late in the evening, we were welcomed by Mrs. Blerina and her daughter Jenny, both greeting us with warm, genuine smiles. They quickly and kindly settled us into an extremely cozy and, I must emphasize, perfectly clean room. Everything we needed was there. The bedding was snow-white, fluffy, fresh, and so comfortable that you immediately fall asleep in it. The silence was absolute. Even the bathroom was spotless, with everything thoughtfully arranged. But the real magic began in the morning. We woke up to the sounds of nature: birds singing, roosters crowing, bees buzzing. It felt like waking up inside a living painting of village life. Outside, an incredible landscape opened up — the villa is surrounded by mountains, with a large, beautifully maintained garden, orange trees, roses, and flowers everywhere. There is a lovely swing, everything is perfectly tidy and cared for. The windows were so clean they literally shined like glass. Even the balcony was sparkling clean. My morning started with yoga. It was my birthday, and I experienced it in a truly magical place. It felt like a childhood morning filled with peace, nature, and harmony. After yoga, Mrs. Blerina invited me for coffee, followed by an amazing homemade countryside breakfast. Eggs from their own chickens, fresh butter, homemade bread baked by Mrs. Blerina herself, fresh milk, traditional cheese, and homemade jams made from quince, figs, and strawberries. A big plate of fresh strawberries, tea, and juice — everything tasted like pure childhood comfort food. It was very hard to leave this place. I even managed to meditate a little before departure. And upon learning it was my birthday, Mrs. Blerina picked a bouquet of roses from the garden and gifted it to me for the road — the most heartwarming surprise.

A very nice girl and her mother greeted us in the evening, treated us to homemade dessert and also prepared a delicious breakfast. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a great pleasure, thank you very much!

If you have a car, this is a great place to stay. Less than 10 min drive from Berat center, this place is great for quiet stay in country side. The rooms are spacious and clean. I had a wonderful stay at Harmony Villa in Berat. Jenny, the host, is exceptionally kind and always available for any information or help. I was able to park right in front of the house, which was very convenient. The villa is located in an idyllic, peaceful area — perfect for a relaxing stay. In the morning, we were greeted with an amazing breakfast full of delicious homemade specialties. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

It is an immersion into Albanian tradition. They welcomed us warmly, ensuring our comfort. The accommodation is very proper, well equipped, with a balcony that has nice view over the country. A country house that offers modern housing accommodation. We chose to get dinner at their place. It was a homemade meal an exceptional value for money. It was tasty, and extra largely copious. We had also a nice conversation with the host. It really feels home, and I felt nostalgic during my stay. If you are in visiting Albania you might consider staying at Harmony villa, I highly recommend it as we loved our stay there.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Harmony Villa and felt at home since the very first second. The house and the family room (including beds and bathroom) are very comfortable and amazingly clean. The breakfast is very good with a lot of fresh food from the own garden (eggs, olives, fruit, marmelade, vegetables, etc.) and more than we could eat. The balcony is really nice and we enjoyed the traditional cooked meal prepared by the family. Thank you very much to mother and daughter! We are looking forward to come back in the future.

“Fabulous family run stay”

It's hard to describe just how welcoming Jenny and her family are at Harmony Villa. Jenny's mum is always full of smiles and is so kind and helpful. We just happened to be the only guests during our two nights in Berat, but even if there had been more, I'm sure her levels of friendliness would have been exactly the same. We were treated to fruit from the garden - grapes, plums etc and with a huge breakfast on both mornings. Also, although it wasn't advertised, they offered to provide an evening meal, which we really appreciated, and which was also huge! The room and facilities were all immaculate, incredibly clean and very comfortable. We liked the fact that the property was outside the centre of the town - maybe 3 kilometres? We had our own car and it was an easy drive into town and as the property is on the same side of town as the castle, it makes it even easier to reach. Jenny herself works at the local hospital during the day but is always on hand and attentive when she gets back late afternoon, helping mum with running the villa. Accommodation is on the first floor, while the family live downstairs.

I believe there is no better place to stay around Berat than here. There is a parking place just infront of the building behind closed gate, Jenny ans her mother were sooo welcoming that we felt like coming home. They prepared us the best dinner that we could imagine, all homemade and prepared with love and in a whole week we didnt have better meal than here. The breakfast was also delicious and overall the stay was so pleasant we felt sorry to leave. I would reccomend to stay here to everyone who want to experience true Albanian food, how nice the people in this country are and great sleep. I plan to come back to Albania next year and I will definately stay here again. 15/10

Absolutely amazing house! The best we had in our two-weeks stay in Albania. The host was very hospitable and caring. Breakfast was well prepared, on time, and it was very delicious. We also got some fresh fruits on our arrival, cool water available in the fridge. Very nice bathroom surprised us, too. Parking available on own property and behind the closed gate. Very recommended on your stay in Berat.
