I waaI was very pleased with my stay in Guva boutique hotel in Berat. I wouldn't give a second thought to chose another hotel if I come to Berat again. İt is a cosy atmosphere. Tasty, rich breakfast. Very nice Berat-Gorica and mountain view from the terrace The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the most important thing iş the owner Gabriela. She is there with her full energy , sincerity and smiling face. And, she is there to help you for any questions I think this means more than amenities. Finally, İ felt very comfortable and welcomed.

I recently stayed at Guva Mangalem Hotel in Berat, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Albania. The hotel is located right in the heart of the historic Mangalem district, offering an authentic atmosphere and some of the best views in the entire city. The rooms are clean, cozy, and decorated in a traditional style that fits perfectly with the charm of Berat. Waking up to the panoramic view of the old town and the river was absolutely incredible. The rooftop terrace is a highlight — a perfect spot for morning coffee or a relaxing evening. The hosts are truly exceptional. Warm, friendly, and always ready to help, they make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that you don’t find everywhere. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh local products and traditional dishes. The hotel’s restaurant is also worth trying if you want to taste authentic Albanian food. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is located on a hill, so you’ll need to walk up through the narrow stone streets — but the view at the top makes it completely worth it. Overall, Guva Mangalem is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Berat. Beautiful views, great location, amazing hosts, and a truly authentic experience.

A cozy little hotell. Worth ever step to get there. The terass is worth every penny in the world, u cant get a better view of berat! The hostess runs her business with heart and soul and puts a smile on your face.

The host Gabriella is a wonderful woman, she will make sure that your stay goes smoothly as possible. The hotel has its own restaurant with traditional food so you don’t need to walk too far. I enjoyed my stay a lot

“Great stay”

We liked everything, Gabriela was a fantastic host, very kind and warm. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, the terrace was very nice. It is a bit of a climb but most hotels are and this one is a worth it and it’s in a nice quiet area.

Super friendly hosts Gabriela and her family who runs the hotel was the highlight for us. Climb up to Guva mangalem is not too bad thought its the last hotel on top. Me my wife and 2 little kids managed it easily. The hotel is character-some, nice decorated and the views from the terrace is awesome of Berat. “Very beautiful historic hotel with an exceptionally nice hotel chef - we strongly recommend it!”

It was a great pleasure for us to spend some nights in this very beautiful historic hotel. You can really feel with how much love the owners of the hotel have furnished and maintain their hotel. It's a must to spend some time there if you are in Berat! We can also recommend the restaurant - especially the restaurant terrace with the view over the valley! Brilliant!

“Old Town in the palm of one's hand”

The hotel is the highest spot hotel on the hill, so one has the old town in the palm of its hand. The hotel is very cozy, landlord nice and views fabulous.

The view was amazing, from the window of my room I could see all Gorica district. The hotel was traditional and very nice and the ladies which was the owner of the hotel was very polite and friendly.

Fabulous views of a beautiful city. Situated perfectly amongst restaurants (Lili, right next door, is an exceptional not to be missed dining experience) and above the main avenue. The hostess works around the clock to assure that guests get everything that they need. She deserves a medal

We love the room, the location of the hotel and the staff!

From the terrace you had a really great view over the city. The owner was so friendly, offered us cold water every day and asked multiple times if we needed anything. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the omelett, homecooked and fresh from the pan! Very reccomendable!
