“A beautiful boutique hotel concept with a personal touch and magnificent views of Berat”

The Grandview boutique hotel was developed with a great sense for detail. It is located across the river of the main part of the terraced historical settlement of Berat (called Gorica), but this fact may even make it more charming. Due to a location in a great angle over the river the views are magnificent. If for an evening view above the rooftops and over the river or sipping a coffee in the very morning. Try to make sure to book a room with balcony. A value added is the free parking at a public parking area near to the river. Make sure, however, to inform the owner about your arrival, as it may become a bit tricky, once you arrive and try to make it your own way to the accommodation. Once meeting the owner at the parking entrance, they will make sure to get you a parking rad and transport your luggage with a buggy up a rather steep hill. From there on, the magnificent views and the feeling of comfort will take over. Still grateful for all the amazing hospitality and for creating a concept, which makes a difference!

We stayed at GrandView Hotel while attending a wedding nearby, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The location was excellent, making it very easy for us to get to and from the wedding celebrations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, who were always happy to help with any questions we had.

“Amazing stay in Berat”

We spent 2 weeks in Albania and this was hands down our favourite place to stay. Steve, the host, is so warm and helpful. The house belonged to his grandfather and has been refurbished to a really high standard. From the start to end, we were so well taken care of. They gave clear directions to the parking spot and came to fetch us in a buggy. We felt so welcomed the moment we stepped in, and were given a glass of house wine to enjoy with the view. The view from the rooms was just the best, overlooking Berat and the lake. It was beautiful every single time we looked out. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms spotless. Great location too, we could walk everywhere from here. Breakfast was generous and plenty of options. They even did our laundry and turned it around so quickly.

Our stay at Grand View Hotel in Berat was simply wonderful. What made our experience especially memorable was the warm hospitality of Steve, the owner. After learning his story, we appreciated the hotel even more. He comes from the family that owned this historic house, which has been beautifully transformed into a charming hotel. After emigrating to the United States, he returned to Albania and created this beautiful property, combining its rich heritage with all the modern comforts travelers appreciate. The location is magnificent, offering stunning views of the iconic houses built into the mountainside that make Berat so unique. Beyond the beautiful setting, the personalized service was exceptional. The staff assisted us with parking and even carried our luggage to our room—a gesture we greatly appreciated, especially considering that Berat is full of steep stairways and cobblestone paths. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Grand View Hotel offers not only a beautiful place to stay but also a genuine sense of hospitality that made us feel truly cared for. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berat.

Beautiful hotel in a great position for everything in Berat. The owners are absolutely lovely, the breakfast is great and the rooms are spotlessly clean and full of character. We had a fabulous stay.

Everything was perfect! The location is ideal, we were able to do everything by feet. There is also a secured parking for the cars close to the hotel. The room was perfect, with all the accommodation needed, decorated with taste, and very clean. A huge thanks to Steve, he was a wonderful host, very welcoming and kind to us! He made the stay so lovely!! We even were welcomed with a glass of the wine that his family produce. Amazing! 100% recommend!!!

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Berat, with amazing views of the town and river. We had a comfortable stay here, but the highlight has to be the care and attention of the hotel staff who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as good as possible. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. The host was amazing and super-friendly, the rooms are spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The view from the room was fabulous - straight over the river and across to the castle and old town on the other side. Location is great with easy walking access to the key parts of Berat. Breakfast was totally delicious and there was a lovely balcony where we could take our coffee overlooking the river.

Location is great. The hotel itself is very stylish and new. We had great breakfast. A special thanks to the receptionist who made us feel at home straight away. If you compare the price with other places around, you can for sure find it cheaper, but this stay is worth the price for sure.
