The place is very calm, with beautiful nature. The owners are very welcoming and caring, we really appreciate it! The breakfast was very good. The room was cozy with good mattress so we had nice rest. Very clean. Recommending! ♡

the cabin is very cozy, it was located in very nice location up in the hills with a nice view of berat. The owner and her daughter were extremely hospitable and gave us a welcome drink and also a basket of mandarins from their own orchard. the cabin itself is super cozy, equipped with a tv and we had a great night's rest and a tasty breakfast the next morning. even in the winter, it wasn't that cold as it could retain heat well with just the AC heating. i would highly recommend staying here to get a farmhouse experience (chickens were not noisy)! it is within walking distance to berat as well (about 35min)

It was lovely, very clean and cosy cabin. We were visiting in mid October and had a very good time there and host was the best, she took a very good care of us! Home made breakfast was delicious! 🥞 Absolutely recommended.

Location itself was really nice. A nice view from the top. Mary was really nice for welcoming us with nice drink. The price is for this property is very cheap and i think its good to pay bit more. The breakfast fast amazing with lot of dishes and also served on time as per our request. Also loved the oranges which kept in the room. The bed was really nice and we had a nice sleep as well. The location was also easy to reach.

“Romantic getaway in Albanian hills”

Super romantic and authentic accommodation in the hills across the historical town of Berat. Beautiful views of surrounding mountains is accompanied by homey feeling and garden full of olive trees and some chickens. The landlady is absolute sunshine and very welcoming. She is eager to show you around, welcomes you with local rakija and breakfasts is absolute must have. Full of local home made treats. I recommend this accommodation to everyone who want to experience the real Albanian hospitality and accommodation outside of the rushed hotels and cities. Thank you for lovely stay we will remember it for very long.

We had a fantastic stay! Mary was the very sweetest of hosts. Despite the language barier, she made us feel very welcome. It was our first stay in Albania and it will be very hard to match the hospitality we got.

“A wonderful experience of Albanian hospitality.”

The little chalets at Bujtina Musta are set amongst the olive trees of Mary's garden, with chickens wandering about and a lovely view across to Berat. The rooms are simple, spotlessly clean, with super comfortable bed and very effective air-conditioning. There's a table and chairs on the terrace where a breakfast with local delicacies is served, including excellent home made byrek and jams. Mary is the kindest of hosts - so welcoming and friendly, despite limited English. It's about 15 minutes downhill to local shops and restaurants, and a further 20 minutes walk across the river and up the big hill to the castle (or get a taxi from the main street). We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend as an authentic Albanian experience.

The owner was very kind and helpful. They welcome you with a smile and warm heart. The place is nice, very near the city but still feeling outside in a calm and quiet area.

“The place you want to stay”

When you visit Berat; this is the place you want to stay. Just outside the (crowded) city centre (on walking distance) with a nice view, in the backyard of a very friendly family. We got a real warm welcome and felt straight at home. The cabins are new and equipped with everything you may need, such as good wifi and a smart tv. The bed was fantastic! The airconditioning was already on when we got there. The hostst left us some coffee/tea to use and we even got some fruits from their garden. We have been travelling through Albania and this accomodation was the best. We highly reccomend staying here!

Lovely stay up in the hill in the backyard of the best family we met here in Albania! Everything was clean. The staff is more than amazing and the breakfast was superb!

“Breathtaking and amazing hosts”

Amazing !!! When we arrived we got greeted with a shot and a some chocolates . The lovely lady was so nice and accommodating. She made us fresh breakfast every morning and even gave us a lot of fresh plumbs for our drive back. We woke up to a amazing view that oversaw the castle in Berat , their was baby chickens at our door step and there was a very friendly kitten who said hello at breakfast… we even saw a tortoise. The cabin was very clean and very comfortable. I would stay again . The views were amazing and the host were just fantastic. I really can’t explain how nice the host was !!!!! She was just amazing. The most friendly and warm person we have met so far !!! I wish her the best.
