Fabulous rural setting overlooking the mountains and horses in the fields next to the hotel. Basic but comfortable enough rooms. Fan provided but no air con. Friendly staff, great wine and food available if required (we didn't test this out). A few km away from the nearest town, Bera, which has restaurants, bars and all other necessary facilities. You definitely need a car to reach the site (or bike with Tour de France level fitness).

Unfortunately, I cannot share these good reviews. We arrived at this abandoned house, and there was no one there, the dog was locked in the basement. The room had not been aired out and had a musty smell. The blanket was dirty. Although breakfast was advertised as ideal, there was none.

Iratxe was super nice and made our stay very comfortable. We felt we were at home. The bedroom is very nice with a huge balcony and the surroundings are exceptional: It is the perfect place if you like hiking or being in a very natural and quiet environment.

We arrived around 18:00 after traveling 450 miles from Alicante only to find the Hotel in darkness and closed much to our dismay. We had been traveling for over Seven Hours and felt abandoned and isolated. We attempted to contact the Hotel using the contact details provided but no response. We then tried to contact Booking.com but no meaningful response. Around 19:00 We realised that we were stranded and would have to look for alternative accommodation which proved difficult as we were traveling with our Pet Dog. We had to travel for quite some time and distance to find a Hotel that would accommodate us. Whilst traveling we had no access to the internet but could have been contacted by Phone number supplied.
