“Beautiful hotel at Beppu”

Location is far from Beppu station but liked it because of the stunning view from the hotel. They have free shuttle from hotel to beppu station every 20mins. Stayed at Hoshikan, dont have own onsen but have large public bath at Suginoi palace. Very huge facility with onsen, pool, arcade, shop and sports area. Enjoy bowling, Pingpong and darts! Breakfast is on thr 13th floor, very yummy sashimi and sushi. Unlimited alc drinks for dinner. Room is very spacious, lobby is very spacious with beautiful bonsai.

Buffet was excellent.

Nice Onsen. Both dinner and breakfast buffets were very good in terms of the quality and variety.

Suginoi does not disappoint. My second visit in a newer building, everything is interconnected so I can walk to the game center, souvenir shop and onsen through the walkway. I found the rooftop onsen to be a bit on the hotter side but very enjoyable. Glad to see the hotel still offers a visit to the onsen after checkout. The buffet breakfast was yummy and there were lots of options. The free shuttle to/from the station is great.

“Wonderful resort stay”

It is a huge resort complex with onsen, games arcade, sports facilities, water and light show, bowling alleys and most importantly, a hot water open air swimming pool. It adds a new dimension to just sightseeing at Beppu. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were attentive and responsive.

The best, biggest and most famous hotel in Beppu. It’s all the way up the hill, but as soon as you are checked in, you do not have to leave the hotel, because everything is there. Great dinner buffet, with food that’s prepared fresh in front of you.

The room was clean and spacious with expansive view of the Beppu Bay. Great food and the free shuttle bus is very handy.
