“Sweet stay in fabulous Beppu”

Really nice place just 5 min walking from the station. The Inn is managed by a sweet and adorable woman. The room is spacious and with all facilities you would need. Yukata and towels are provided. We couldn't enjoy the onsen because it was broken but the lady offered us a special coupon to use in another onsen open until 10 pm. She finally left us early in the morning with a sweet gift

Excellent Location for exploring downtown Beppu. Also the traditional inn/ryokan atmosphere is alive and well here. The owner is warm, friendly and helpful. This is nothing like a modern hotel; it's a vintage, one of a kind Japanese inn.

This is a traditional Japanese tatami vintage style inn. The hostess, and old lady, of this inn was very kind and nice, and the room was comfortable.

The owner is a lovely cute old lady, and was very welcoming. We were able to leave our things before and after checkout. It was very cheap for the big double rooms. The decor was very cute and homey as well. The owner also found a charger we left in one of the rooms and returned it to us which is much appreciated.

Great experience, super friendly and accomodating host, warm lady running the inn and supporting with any questions. Everything was very clean and the location is great if you want to be close to the station as well as around central area of the town. Reccomend if you want to enjoy Japanese experience :)

“Step back in time”

Quaint. Rather frugal, it's like stepping back into the '60s. A rotary dial telephone in every room. (no send button for you Gen Z'ers) Must be 30 years since I've used one of them. Interesting historical collection in the lobby. Stay here! It won't be around for ever, and once it's gone...

You literally cannot ask for a better locations as it is near to Beppu Station and Beppu Station has all sorts of tours you can easily get into. The old woman was oretty sweet and will welcome you warmly every time you return. You can even request to take the onsen bath in the morning even though the onsen bath is taken from the 6pm onwards.

Easiest walk from Beppu Station and central to everything. Kind and helpful host who carefully explained the workings of the shower. You won't find better value. If you're after flash and modern, this isn't for you but it's comfortable and you will be looked after. Great for travellers on a budget that don't want hostel dormitories.

A small Inn at short walking distance fr train station and good location with lots of shops/eating places nearby. Value for money price.

Clean, japanese style, mattress on the floor lovely traditional, very close to the station, very nice host, and you can try bridal kimono for free and make photos.

The inn is run by an incredibly friendly lady. Eventhough her english isn't great, she makes you feel right at home! The room was very traditional, with tatami flooring and futon beds. I highly recomend this place.
