“Convenient”

I needed somewhere close to catch an early bus to the airport and this was perfect as it was right across the road. I was on the train platform side and didnt mind the sounds of the platform sounds. Rooms are a bit dated but it's a good base if you just need somewhere to sleep. There is an onsen in the adjoining building for guests to use and plenty of places to eat nearby. WIFI was good and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It was nice to have a table and chair next to the window.

“Value for money”

Close to transportation yet it was quite. The breakfast buffet was average but the dinner was delicious. The menu was different each night. There's a set time for dinner which was okay with me. It can get busy as people returning from their trips. The onsens are good and rotation of men and women to use different floors. I prefer 1st floor as there is an extra outdoor one. Staff are very helpful especially one lady who helped me a lot.

It's like a business hotel with onsen. Old style but well renovated. All service is available. Good place to stay in Beppu.

This was my second time staying here. The location is right across the street from the station. They have the in-house onsen which I love. The staff are helpful. Obviously I would stay here again.

The location can't get any better than this; literally right across from Beppu Station. Extremely good price-value.

A great hotel for a short holiday-it is located across the street from Beppu station, which is very convenient. The buses for the seven Beppu hells depart just across the street, plus at the station there is a tourist information hub with excellent service - I strongly reccomend consulting them about tourist attractions nearby.The view from my 10th floor room was however to the other side, towards Beppu bay and it was very nice. The onsen is both indoor and outdoor, I enjoyed it very much - it is also for external guests, not only for hotel guests use, so it can get busy at times. Breakfast was tasty and a great start of the day. It was all very clean. Staff at reception spoke excellent english, which is not common in Japan. Last, but not least - the hotel is really superb value for money.

Location (right next to the station)

Stayed for a single night, the hotel had everything I needed. Comfortable beds, decent breakfast, good location and it wasn't expensive.

The staff were friendly and good English speakers. The hotel is located right next to the train station and close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The single room was spacious.

Convenient location, in front of Beppu station. Many izakayas nearby. The room is very large.

Close to the station with free parking, making travel easy. The breakfast was delicious, and thoughtful amenities like a massage chair near the coin laundry made the stay comfortable. Easy check-in/out and room was very clean.

Breakfast is ok but if you are in Japan, you may find some local coffeshops with awesome coffee and sandwiches. However, this hotel is fine for this money (not expensive) and managers there are really great. They also have Onsen (Japan sauna) and I really enjoyed it. If you are planning a trip to Beppu, you should defenetely choose this hotel.

“Shortchanged”

Nothing except the location which was barely 3 min walk from Beppu Train Station.

“It locates at a conveniences area that you can easily get access. Beware the step to room toilet is high so may not be”

Free parking, opposite of Beppu station and many shops & eateries around it. Onsen is provided but it’s rather small & rundown, poor water pressure and cleanliness not JP standard.
