The staff were very accommodating and the place was tidy, quiet and perfect for a decent getaway from the rushes of the cities. We booked two chalets and both were clean, loved the facilities, and enjoyed our stay. We had three of their breakfast options and all three were quite exceptional! Definitely looking forward to going there again next time I'm headed down south!

Pool in the middle of the place, restaurant available, very nice and comfy room, modern bathroom with good style. Loved all of it! Easy to reach, tuktuk is also available at the property. The place also has a very good restaurant near the lake.

A great find! The property is beautiful, so clean, the food is great and the staff are very helpful but unobtrusive. The pool is fantastic. Great value for money.

Quiet peaceful relaxing

One of the best property in bentota, very quiet, clean, amazing staff.. We came in very early, they gave us rooms early, it's very peaceful.. top notch facilities.. Highly recommended..

The whole complex was magnificent, very clean and tidy. The individual chalets were superb, the showers were stunning. The free tuk tuk rides to the shops etc was a stunning idea. Lovely swimming pool. The breakfasts were a set price where as perhaps the ability to have a couple of pieces of toast would have been nice.

“A wonderful resort”

This place is amazing, spotless, modern and well maintained. The staff are so helpful and happy and more than willing to run you anywhere in the hotels tuk tuk. The restaurant is not cheap but the quality and quantity of the food is very good. Lovely swimming pool and the room bathrooms are something different. We added an extra night to our stay because of its standard. Don’t hesitate if you are in the area, this is the place to stay.

This place is fabulous! Forget high end resorts. Rooms are great - super wifi, tv, great bathroom- outside waterfall shower. Staff are wonderful! Wonderful place if you just need a retreat.

So pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We booked it as a quick stop closer to the hotel and didn’t really mind where we stayed and weren’t expecting much. But this place was perfectly clean, everything looked brand new. The room was beautiful and what an amazing bathroom. Really is a beautiful spot.

“A relaxing & wonderful stay”

If you are visiting Bentota this is the place to stay! Forget the big hotels, Tree Of Life is far more special. Located down a small peaceful road with lovely places to eat within walking distance or a few mins tuk tuk ride. There are 6 Villas set in gardens around a lovely pool, inside is beautifully presented, big comfy beds, incredible bathroom & extremely clean. Fridge is always topped up with water, daily fresh towels & cleaning if needed. Breakfast is served in the little restaurant area which is comfortable & once again beautifully presented. Food is cooked freshly each morning, fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, curry, we tried it all, it was delicious. Staff are friendly, welcoming & work really hard everyday to keep the place clean & tidy. We’ve had a relaxing stay away from the noise we would definitely return.

Such a beautiful place and very peaceful. This was our first stay in Sri Lanka and we are so glad we stayed. The staff are amazing, they organised our transport from airport, organised tuk tuk rides when we needed, made us feel so welcome, cooked amazing food. The service is outstanding. Our room was so lovely, clean, with great air con and view on the pool. Our bathroom was huge and the pool is lovely and warm. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Staff amazing. Food excellent. Rooms clean with sensational bathrooms! Resort is a collection of 6 cabanas around a pool and restaurant - Small enough to feel special, large enough to feel spacious. There is a nice local shop at the end of the road. River restaurants within walking distance. Everything else a tuk tuk away. Larry can arrange any trip you like, and Neil is always on hand with a big smile to help. All the other staff are equally friendly and accomodating! One of the best places we've stayed in Sri Lanka

Beautiful resort with excellent design, outdoor bathroom was great. Staff was very attentive and food was great. I loved the free shuttle to the beach. Highly recommend!

A nice stay, the accommodation is great. A beautiful bathroom and great rooms. The property is one of the best we’ve stayed in on our 3 week tour of Sri Lanka, a few minor issues below but they could be easily rectified and avoidable for others if they know about them up front.
