“Relaxing and enjoyable stay!”

Little cute boutique hotel, literally on the beach, just out of a postcard! Everything is super clean and the staff is terrific! The drink menu is pretty amazing and their cocktails are absolutely fab, made with actual fruit (the passion fruit margarita was a winner for me!) Food menu is varied, with international tones too (a blessing with our picky teen), but their forte is the fish/sea food selection) We stayed for 9 nights which is probably longer than most of the people we crossed during our time here, but plenty of things to do around such as excursions to Galle and Bentota (owner will help with organising these trips and also provide free entry to turtle hatchery nearby). We also had breakfast here every day and it was filling and earthy. Tucked away from the busy road, this is the place for anyone wishing to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and sea (we loved the waves). As the evening unfolded, it was amazing watching the sunset, music playing and seeing more dining guests coming to eat and drink here (especially from the Sheraton nearby), bringing a cozy lively feel to the place. Then peace and quiet overnight, just the waves rolling in! Worth mentioning, it looked as the perfect place for solo female travellers, 2 overlapped our stay, a very safe hotel where everyone can happily unwind and relax, whilst enjoying themselves without the constant nagging of the busy touristy areas or the typical stiffness of the all inclusive hotels. We made such happy memories during our stay, we will be back to Sri Lanka and we will certainly pay a visit to the Pleasure Kosgoda again!

“Great place, beautiful view, neat stay and good service”

Literally everything was good about this place. Mr. Poojida and his team ( Sachin, Indira, Shante and few others whose name I can't pronounce) did a great job. It was indeed a place of "Pleasure". The beach and the view is outstanding. Will visit again if we can. Love from India.

“If you want a very calm place, then this is it.”

Very calm place, large room, amazing view. Good food, plenty of coices. Very friendly owner. He organized a car for us to the turtle hatchery and drove us to the river safari. Everything was clean, outside area is cleaned every morning very early so when you wake up everything is very nice.

Nice rooms with great views. Wonderful staff, especially the administrator Chefa.

“Gorgeous beachfront Gem”

Excellent and pretty beachfront gem. The rooms are gorgeous and the views amazing. All the staff are great and That Rasta Guy so friendly and very helpful.we loved the cows wandering up the beach and we had a gorgeous warm swim in the surf. We had the best pina Colada too.

“3 night stay at The Pleasure”

This was a truly excellent final few days of our trip. Pujita and the team were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food from the little restaurant was excellent. It's just a small 6 bedroom villa and has an intimate and personal feel. The location is great and the beaches were very quiet. Dumido was great at "front of house" and made sure we had everything we needed. Very highly recommended.

After 2 weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka, staying in homestays and cheap digs, we booked The Pleasure for our last 4 nights of our trip. I really wanted a bit of luxury and time on the beach. The Pleasure did not disappoint and in fact it exceeded our expectations. We loved the room, the beach is literally on the doorstep and the team who work there are fabulous. We loved the wee bar too, pumping out reggae tunes run by a cool rasta guy 😀

We enjoyed our stay at Pleasure Kosgoda hotel very much. Everything was perfect and relaxing. Very quiet and private place with very-very-very marvelous beach. 10 out of 10 for sure. What could be improved: wifi, the Internet works for “so-so” mark even when your devices show full connection

We couldn’t have stayed in a better place to bring our wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka to a close. Very large comfortable rooms overlooking the ocean. Great food, great service, stunning location with so many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute tuk tuk ride. Thank you so much to Thushan and all the team, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

Small hotel for 3 rooms and 3 more under construction now. Territory mostly private with small pass during tides. The hotel has its own parking behind gates, beach is sandy and clean. Breakfast is great, can be adjusted to your needs. Owner and hotel manager are amazing guys.

“Fabulous, relaxing experience”

Greeted personally by the manager who took us in hand to ensure we found our room & were aware of all facilities - indoor/out door eating areas, lovely wee pool, private garden in grass ending at the beach & magnificent Indian Ocean, all with upholstered sun loungers, swing chairs, foot tap to rinse sand off, etc. our huge room & all others have beach views & balconies. Staff all very helpful and well trained. Excellent range of breakfasts from local to international; choice of drinks - Lion beer, cocktails etc. delicious snacks also available. Tuk Tuks arranged for complimentary trip to turtle sanctuary (well worth the visit) & to get us to a range of shops & fabulous local restaurants which were all very good. We will definitely use this place on any return trip & recommend it to any couples.
