“Really bad experience, we couldn’t relax at the property at all”
Filthy, scams guests, unpleasant. There was trash in our bin when we checked in. He turns off the electricity if you leave the a/c on while out for dinner (it was an hour, we just didn’t want to sleep with it on since it’s aimed at the bed). He sits in the yard, turns the fan off while you’re sitting on the patio.

Very good, great location in Bentota, 5 minutes' walk to the beach. The owner is a very nice and kind person. He provided everything he needed and offered advice. I highly recommend this place.

“Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable Highly Recommended!””
I had a 1-night stay – it was quiet, relaxing, and a clean place. The owner was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coconut sambol. This was my second time staying here. The bathroom was clean, the room and AC were perfect. It’s within walking distance to Bentota beach. They also served nice black tea. The price is reasonable and definitely value for money. I highly recommend this place!

It was a really pleasant stay at the end of my Sri Lanka tour. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped room, a wonderful garden, friendly guesthouse owner who always tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The food is excellent, and you can also book a boat trip in the Bentota Lagoon directly. I would be happy to visit the Gold Sand Resort again on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

“Not worth the money”
We booked Deluxe Triple Room but we Received budget Double Room there was no facilities as they mentioned . He just give you wifi password but no data to use. He just cheating with you saying that he provide wifi.

“Verry good & amazing”
I had a wonderful stay at Gold Sand Resort in Bentota, Sri Lanka. It's a nice and quiet place, perfect for relaxing. The owner is very kind and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was well taken care of. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful and beautiful location!” He was the best owner. I think he took care of me very well and felt from the Breakfast and had dinner. I would go there once again

“Lovely stay”
