Excellent accommodation and very nice restaurant next door. Owner was happy to organize a private river safari and it was very informative and great guide. Amazing evening activities with large fruit bats passing over the accommodation, such an amazing site.

“Beautiful room, amazing outdoor terrace with riverside and garden views.”
I had an excelkent stay. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with a well-functioning air conditioner and a kitchenette. My favorite part was the huge private balcony with stunning garden and riverside views—such a peaceful and relaxing location. An added bonus was the excellent restaurant next door, where I could continue enjoying the tranquil river scenery. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great advice when I needed to arrange airport transport. Plus, the breakfast he provided was one of the best I had during my time in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this accommodation if you're looking for something peaceful and amongst nature.

Breakfast was delicious and big, the owner was very helpful, gave us a lot of good advice and arranged the trips. The room had a kitchen too. The place is near the river, we went for the boat safari from the backyard. The garden is nice.

“Fantastic place to stay and enjoy Bentota.”
The best accommodation we have had in Sri Lanka during our month-long stay. Just was great and the room was fantastic. Clean!! Why can’t others be like this? Plus it’s in a great riverside location. Plus breakfast was great too. Overall the best!

Very well equipped apartment with separate kitchen and a private balcony overlooking the River Bentota. The host and his family could not have been more helpful friendly or kind. The breakfasts were large varied and high quality.

Wonderful location directly on the river. Sitting on the terrace with the river view is amazing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He organises tours on request. The river boat tour operated by a friend of the owner is really recommendable. The breakfast is big and the food served is according to your selection.

The location was splendid!!! The property’s backyard opens out to the lake. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well maintained. The owners were very warm. Bandula and Sureshini were very kind and helpful. They made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely book again if I travel to SL.

Very beautiful and super clean villa right on the river bank. Breakfast is amazing and the owner organised a private boat safari with his friend for us which was incredible. Can‘t recommend enough!

“Lovely view”
Perfect hideaway and only 1,5-2 hours to the airport by car, so a good spot to start or end your journey. Super nice little apartment with your own kitchenette to cook something small. It’s on the first floor so you have an amazing view from your terrace to the river right in front of the garden. Very nice quiet area, could have a few more restaurant options nearby but if you don’t mind walking a bit the town is not far. And the main beach is perfect for swimming! Our breakfast was also very nice, a mix of western and local things. The owner of the house is very nice and super helpful with anything. Would definitely come again and recommend this place for a very fair price!
