Beautiful property set in wonderful location. Spotlessly clean, fantastic pool. Breakfast served every morning was lovely (fresh fruit, eggs, toast, jam and sometimes local delicacy). Just a great place to stay.

We stayed here as a family of four and left with a very good impression. The location by the river is lovely, and the breakfast was generous and well prepared. What made this place genuinely different, though, were the two owners. They welcomed us warmly and seemed truly happy to have guests — not in a performative way, but with a calm, genuine ease that was immediately noticeable. Interesting to talk to, never intrusive. Our children felt completely at home. A peaceful and well-run little place. We can recommend it without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The property is spotlessly clean and has beautiful views of the river. Also a nice pool and beautiful garden where you can relax after a day exploring or on the beach. The owner can arrange for a local guide to pick you up by boat directly from the jetty at the property to explore the lagoon and mangroves which is highly recommended. Very nice breakfast too. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Sri Lanka.

Beautiful riverside garden and pool, room was spacious and immaculate, everything was very well maintained, best breakfast we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka - good coffee, fresh fruit and juice, good quality bread, very friendly and nice staff

The most relaxing experience, this little gem is perfect, the gardens are immaculate and the views couldn’t be better. The infinity pool is spotless and a wonderful spot to watch the river life pass. The family who work incredibly hard to make sure your stay is perfect, go beyond any expectations of hospitality. We had fresh fruit and juices provided every morning along with a choice of Sri Lankan breakfast or a variety of eggs./ toast etc. Value for money this place way exceeded our expectations . The rooms are simply furnished with en-suite, air conditioning and a little fridge. They are serviced daily by the housekeeper or the family. We will never again book into a big hotel for the facilities having experienced such a perfect experience in a small family home , Absolutely amazing can’t wait to return

Very relaxing and comfortable. The local couple running the accommodation were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is a quiet area and I slept well at night. Just a short walk to the town and the beach but far enough away from the train line and traffic to enjoy peace and quiet.

Our stay was phenomenal! Starting with the very spacious room, impeccably clean and comfortable, perfect for accommodating a family of four. The owners are very kind and attentive people, always ready to guide us with the activities we wanted to do. The accommodation is located by the river and has a beautiful garden with a pool, providing a sense of well-being and tranquility. Also worth mentioning are the wonderful breakfasts and the dinner they prepared for us with fresh products, which was absolutely delicious! We recommend it 100%!
