“Exceeded expectation”

The property is in an excellent location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The owners were extremely friendly and kind, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Although there is no in-house restaurant, they thoughtfully provided all the necessary cooking facilities in the room, which was very convenient. They were always ready to offer help whenever needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a very pleasant experience.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. A family run business that really cares about its guests - the owners couldn't do enough for us. Our ground floor room was spacious and very clean and looked out onto part of the gorgeous and beautifully maintained garden. We liked having a little kitchen where we could do basic meal preparation. The swimming pool is small but sparkling clean and was greatly appreciated as a way to cool down in such high temperatures. The guesthouse is in a quiet area, a good 20 minute walk from the beach, but it was easy to get a tuk tuk. We spent six days here and it was the perfect ending to our seven week trip.

“Great place to stay”

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated room - I can see why River Breeze get so many good reviews. The value for money is outstanding. I had the bedroom with a little sitting room and kitchen and a really nice bathroom. The owners are lovely and helpful and the swimming pool and garden area are lovely and also spotlessly clean. Location is very quiet but just 2 or 3 km to the busier areas and the beach. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect ! The owner , staff everyone was super helpful. Breakfast was delicious . Stayed 2 nights there and it was wonderful. Very clean and spacious rooms. Also the best part about the villa was “Theo” . Iam attaching theo’s pic below . If you’re looking for a great experience here and want to meet theo then do visit this place . I totally recommend .

“Great value for money”

That was my first booking in Sri Lanka and now I know it was one of the best, the cleanest and well kept places. The friendly owner welcomed me with a fresh juice, she helped me arrange tuk tuk rides when I struggled to do so in the app. The room was super spacious and clean, same goes for the bathroom. There is a mini kitchenette there as well with kettle, sink and fridge. The location is very peacful and only 10 minutes away from the more bustling center of Bentota.

clean place with great pool, plenty of squirrels (sweet), great breakfast and super friendly hosts, ideal organization of boat trip in mangrove forest in the morning - the guide was great - informative and positive attitude.

Lovely to have a small pool. The woman was very helpful and polite . The big room was great and nice to be able to do some basic cooking when we wanted . It was clean with a modern bathroom . Enjoyed the private balcony and the whole atmosphere was very peaceful .

“A real shame we only had one night here”

We had a suite which was comfirtable. Breakfast was served on the balcony and was fabulous. Ruchira could not do enough for us. This warm lovely woman organised tuc tucs for us Sorted out a river safari., negotiated with a Uber for drive to airportWe had a late flight and in addition to keeping our cases invited us to use the pool and allowed us use of a shower room immediately prior to departure. She actually said that if she had not been full (she has 5 rooms), we could have remained in ours until departure

“Gorgeous place to stay in Bentota!”

One of the nicest stays we had in Sri Lanka. Staff were extremely helpful & attentive. We got given lovely juice on arrival and also another day while sitting out enjoying the pool which was a nice touch! Room was massive with a kitchen and well designed bathroom included, plus a comfortable bed. Their dog Theo is such a dote too! An early morning safari tour was also organised for us which was very good. Would definitely recommend here to others when visiting Bentota! Thank you for a gorgeous stay 😊

Hospitality of the owner.They treat you like family whatever we have requested for Ruchira and her family have kept the request. The rooms were cleaned and the pool was super clean. Ruchira has also helped us to book river safari, the person was too genuine and made our day happy. I will visit this place again bcz of the owner and apartment.

😭😭 wonderful stay !!!! You & your family and your grumpy dog haha You were so welcoming from the second we arrived, serving us the best orange juice, and showing us to our lovely room ! This was the comfiest bed on my whole trip around Sri Lanka, the room was huge and so clean!! The air-conditioning was amazing. There is a little kitchen with everything needed in the living room too. The pool was so clean! Your dog was the cutest! NOTHING was any trouble for you, very helpful. We cant thank you enough for making our stay so great! Its a little out the way, so nice and quiet next to the lagoon! The host can arrange trips and transport ! A tuk tuk to restaurants are around 400! For anyone coming here visit Boss of Prawns restaurant!!!! We spent out whole time here WOW
