Really beautiful property, renovated to very high quality. Very nice space to relax in. Lovely furniture, mosquito nets on beds. We chose to eat all of our meals for our 2 night stay, the food was excellent too. Super hosts. Fantastic value.

I had an unforgettable stay at Sea Turtle Bungalow. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was well arranged for us throughout our stay. The food was delicious and carefully prepared, and the cleanliness of the bungalow and rooms was excellent. The property is conveniently located just a 100-meter walk from the beach. The beach itself is very clean, peaceful, and not overcrowded, making it a perfect place to relax and truly enjoy the surroundings. Overall, an amazing place for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Very cozy place with nice and polite staff

“Nice colonial home, but average as a home-stay.”

It is a beautiful old style colonial home. It has a beautiful fish pond in the middle. The room we stayed was nice because the air-con was working.The other room had the only aircon working left in the house and the sheets were dirty in the second room (I found out after check-out so not to upset the caretaker). You can walk to the beach by crosing the main street (beware the near 100kmh fast busses) through another homestay to the beach.

I stayed with a group of come-travelers. The bungalow is nice and quiet. Very close to the beautiful beach. Amazing breakfast! Very nice host. Beautiful restaurant across the road. I would stay more if I could. Bentota is much nicer than beaches in the south.

Delightful, old, colonial bungalow with enormous charm. Spacious property,really comfortable bed with effective mosquito net, fully functioning shower ( at last!), light but delicious breakfast. The housekeeper, Deepthi, is adorable: welcoming, helpful and attentive. We loved this place which is just 150m from the sea and a gorgeous sandy beach. Would love to come back!

We loved everything about this place. It was incredibly beautiful, immaculately clean and full of character with the sweetest owner 😘 we had the best Sri Lankan breakfast here during all our stay made from the heart I am sure. Our most favorite accommodation during our 3 week tour.

A beautiful house with such a nice owner. Deepthi is a real sweetheart. She gave me food, although I didn t book breakfast. You could watch her cooking and you are allowed to use the kitchen as well. The bathroom is big and you have a fridge in the room. You got help all the time. The beach is nice and only a few meters away.

A beautiful old bungalow, freshly renovated with style. The room was a little small but that was our choice. The staff were lovely and very helpful offering a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant. The staff also very kindly prepared our room as we arrived about three hours early.
