“An Oasis lovely stay”

This was a great place to stay. So good i extended my stay..Jaya the host waa really helpful and the garden is beautiful and quiet.. a really peaceful.. near to the beach, shops and other restaurants

“Perfect place to stay close to the beach!”

We have spent 3 nights at New Jaya Villa and it was great. The place is very peaceful, with many plants and flowers all around. Nice terrasse to spend time on and very quiet, no noise at night or during the day :) The owner and his family are very nice, friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were great (Western breakfast or Sri Lankan breakfast). There is milk with hot drinks and there are always fruits and delicious things to eat! There is also a restaurant where you can eat lunch and dinner (this is also where you eat breakfast in the morning), we haven't tried the restaurant but we're sure it's delicious! There is no laundry service, but we could easily do it across the street. It's perfectly located close to the beach and nice restaurants, as well as 6min walking distance from the bus stop. When we were there it was really hot, so the roof fan was just enough, but another fan would have been great :) Wi-Fi wasn't working during our stay but we had our own connexion and data, so it wasn't a problem. The bedroom and bathroom were big, clean and confortable. There is hot water (even though it was absolutely not necessary when we were there lol). We really recommend to stay there! And if it's too hot, do not hesitate to book the AC rooms with nice terasse on the upper floor. Thanks for everything!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing. The location was brilliant, and in such a lovely position in Bentota. The property was clean, the bed was big and the water was warm.

“A great stay”

The first room was a bit moldy and did not have air condition. Luckily I could upgrade at a fair price to the way bigger, newer room on the top floor with air condition and a comfortable bed which i really liked. Breakfast and traditional Sri Lankan fish dishes by Mr. Jaya were delicious at fair prices. Mr. Jaya is für to talk to and can offer good advice on discovering the surroundings.

The property is close to the beach and restaurants. Jaya the host was always ready to help and helps with bike rentals and taxi services. It's a nice quiet place and very reasonably priced. i had the non AC room which was clean and comfortable.

We loved staying here. The garden is beautiful and most of the fruit, they serve for breakfast grows in the garden. Best part is the host! He is very nice, answers all your questions and he gives you recommendations for activities and even organizes them for you. He also drives you around in his Tuktuk for free. You will definitely enjoy your stay! :))

The garden is so beautiful! A lot of nice plants, sweet dog, breakfast included and a good location, even if not directly at the beach.

Spacious room with a kitchen and a fridge. Such a green background around the house. Bathroom also had all the essentials including hot water. Owner’s are caring and friendly. They had such a nice dog too. Best place if you are a pet lover and a nature lover.

Jaya is very friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse and garden is lovely. Hot water, fridge, terrace and AC, really good. A short walk across the railtrack to a beautiful beach. Would definitely stay again. Nice veggy food available too!

It is a beautiful house with a very beautiful garden in a quiet residential area, the owners are very friendly and accommodating wanting one to feel at home, the home cooked breakfast was excellent, only 10 minutes walk from the beach and 20 minutes walk from supermarket and main road. There are several restaurants close by offering a wide range of local and international food. There is also an Ayurveda centre few minutes away . Is also 10-15 minutes walk to Bentota railway station
