“Comfortable stay in beautiful villa”

The villa has a beautiful architecture and has a charming garden where we could spot wild peacocks or a varan which was exciting! The owner is very attentive. He served us amazing huge breakfast and even lent us his bikes for free. The room is spacious, bed is huge and comfortable and everything was spotless clean. Great value for money!

“Wonderful stay!”

This is a gorgeous house with high ceilings, beautiful old furniture, spotless linen and fluffy towels, a great shower and the nicest people. The breakfast is great, fresh and a lot. Ideal, quiet location: a pleasant 10 min walk to the beach. The owner recommended us a fabulous boat safari. We had the best time, even played badminton in the garden!

We loved the spacious,elegant and spotlessly clean rooms.Comfortable beds and wonderful shower.There was a spacious guest shared area with tables,chairs and a balcony overlooking the large garden with it's lovely array of local tropical plants and fruit trees. The hosts were very attentive and accomodating with regard to providing breakfasts and supporting us with travel and other arrangements going out of their way to lift us or arrange taxis. The beach was about a 15-20 min walk away where you could find a number of good small restaurants.Great for swimming and walking along. Good place to do a river safari.

The owner was great. The big 4 poster bed was really comfy. Modern bathroom with hot shower. I highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful, quiet place. The hosts are wonderful people, they welcomed us like family, showed us around, and told us everything. They helped us choose local fruits and organize a safari on the Bentota River. They also prepared a delicious breakfast for us, which we booked as an optional extra. If you're interested in a guesthouse stay, I highly recommend it. Thank you.

The place was a bliss,away from the hustle buzzle of the city and after a long hectic but enjoyable day tour. The host Jayavi was very humble and helpful. A must visit homely stay, away from home. The whole place is beautifully done with lot of antic wooden Furniture. The best part was the tall, huge but simply awesome Coconut trees, lust green plants, the lush grass, the birds chirping and the lovely sky above, Very relaxing and refreshing and neatly & aestheticslly kept place at a very reasonable price. Beautiful, calm, quiet, peaceful place to stay. An absolute steal at the price point, the room was stunning. So much space, insansely comfortable bed with really good mosquito net. The bathroom was clean, shower pressure amazing and hot. Couldn’t recommend more.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mishthana Canal Resort and we had a fantastic time. The design and decor of the room was stunning. We had an excellent stay, as the room was very clean, spacious, and quiet. The bed was comfortable and luxurious, made of high-quality linen. The AC in our room worked well and we had a great night’s sleep. Our children had a wonderful time exploring the huge garden adjacent to the canal. We even saw a wild peacock walking freely there. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was quite close to the beach, restaurants and other amenities.

Absolutely amazing place. The owners were so lovely and really attentive - they even gave us complimentary drinks and fruits from the garden and called us when there were monkeys and birds around. Was in a beautiful setting at one with nature but still just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room, bathroom and balconies couldn’t have been nicer. Best place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka :)

What I liked most was the kindness of friendliness of the fellow local tourists who stayed with us. There were three ladies who became very friendly with us and we shared our food with them. It was a unique experience.

The hosts are very nice and committed towards hospitality. The property was stunning, nestled near nature, rich in heritage, and featuring retrofitting. Wonderful host, incredibly kind people, and very considerate. Srilankan breakfast was the star. loved the food, taste, hygiene.
