Great location. Minute walk to train station, two minutes to the beach. Jilian was very helpful. As a bonus wifi worked really well!

“Great Room but uncomfortable Experience with the Host”

The room itself was actually really nice. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and the mosquito net was great to have. There was hot water and even two different options for showering, which was a nice touch. Overall, everything in the room was absolutely fine. I’m personally not really a breakfast person, but the breakfast was well prepared and nicely arranged.

Jilan was a great host. He drove me everywhere I needed, found a wonderful Ayurvedic center for me and a super river safari. His mother is adorable, and prepared a good breakfast. I really recommend staying at this place.

The best thing in that place was the old lady making breakfast. She barely speaks any english, but is such a sweet human being. She even went an extra mile and on my check out day made earlier breakfast than usual.

Best stay I had during my whole trip! No mosquitos - windows are protected Most loveliest mum , prepared me a lunch box on my departure day, generally super good Sri Lanka breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden Modern furnitured, some constructions still need to be done

“A family homestay”

The woman who manage the homestay is sympatical and she makes good breakfast. Unfortunaly all the personnal there is not so efficient, especialy the tuk tuk driver who doesn’t respect his words and then does bad job, I couldn’t go to river safari cause of him.

“Great little homestay near the beach”

Very friendly family. The mother makes the breakfast and she does a wonderful job. The daughter and son both speak good english. The room was very nice as well. I loved the garden and had a pleasant time eating breakfast there.

we had a nice stay of 3 nights at this guesthouse. the room was clean and our concerns we're promptly corrected. they also offered a river trip in mangroves and we saw many reptiles and birds. the mom showed us around their garden it's beautiful. breakfast always had at least 3 types of fruits (mango banana watermelon papaya pinneaple and even passionfruit). even let me do some laundry and hang it outside.
