“Happy & Green”

The staff was very courteous, helpful and cheerful. The room was quite spacious. They were very generous with the towels and drinking water. The breakfast spread was really elaborate. We got to try different Sri Lankan delicacies. I'm glad that we chose to go at the end of March because there were hardly any mosquitoes around.

LOVELY SETTING RURAL & PEACEFUL HAD AN EARLY CHECK-OUT AND WE WERE PROVIDED WITH PACKED BREAKFAST WHICH WAS READY FOR 6AM

I’m so pleased that we came to stay at Happy Man. The rooms are huge with a lovely outdoor bathroom. We so enjoyed showering and listening to the birds at the same time. The swimming pool is beautifully kept with comfortable sunbeds and shade available. Excellent choice of dishes on the menu. Eastern and Western food. We went to visit the beach one day and the fantastic Turtle Conservation Centre. The accommodation organised the transport for this local trip and provided it for free. I asked whether wine was available and they kindly sent someone out to buy us some. Just an amazing set up and service for such a reasonable price.

The property is very exclusive and is blended with nature. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Staff always smiling and happy to help. The free tuktuk rides were very helpful.

This was the first place we stayed in Sri Lanka, we have high expectations now! They looked after us so well!! Roshana was so helpful and kind, Balandur who served us breakfast and dinner was so lovely to me and my son! Highly recommend staying here for anyone who has small kids 😊 Our room was so beautiful, and the outdoor bathroom was amazing!! Great wildlife to be seen here. Thank you so much

“Happy staff at Happy Man Village”

Amazing service from happy staff. Although we stayed for only one day, we enjoyed the hotel and a perfect massage at the premises. The portions at the restaurant were huge. The hotel also arranged for us a nice river safari.

Happy Man Village is an absolute dream stay. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared, the spaces are wonderfully open and spacious, and the rooms feel truly authentic, full of character and comfort. What makes this place unforgettable, though, is the people. The staff are genuinely the best you could ever ask for: kind, attentive, and always smiling. Everything is super! Calm place, clean, quiet, peacefull, perfect pool, house cleaning. Very helpfull staff, especially Rashana. Fullfill all our wishes. Great place to stay!!!

The villas were comfortable and the food was quite nice. There was aircon and a fan in each villa and an outside loo and toilet making the most of the natural surrounds

Great location! We loved that it was quiet and you hear the animals♡ the outdoor bathroom was fantastic! Staff was very helpful when we needed a doctor for our son because of an ear infection and cared for us. Arranged his favorite yoghurt♡ arranged a tuktuk driver so i could go shopping with my daughter. They are absolutely amazing. Good size swimming pool and not crowdy at all. Big breakfast. I would definitely come back to this place♡

Special thanks to Roshana and Sasindo. Sasindo spent some time with us during most of our visits which allowed to experience the local life (and avoid the tourist traps) They even provide the local transportation free of charge

“Happy as.”

This small resort gave our family the pleasant stay I expected and was our base to explore the Bentota river. We went with Bentota river Safari's STT and it was easily one of the highlights of our families 13 day tour. Away from the main road it provides a tranquil place to relax & take a dip in the pool. Our hostess was very welcoming and the breakfast was generous and delicious.
