Thush and his family are sooo welcoming and nice that it feels like you are their guest and not just a paying customer. Cabin are perfect with a big bed and a mosquito net which are in the heart of nature yet close to the city and beach if thats your thing. This was my first stay in lanka with a hot shower hahaa its perfect best place in town you cant go wrong with it. They also provide tours but Im a budget traveller

“Homely, good food, sweet family, lovely neighbourhood and cheap!”

Thushan’s wife was an amazing host; she cooked absolutely amazing, very very good food!! We loved the neighborhood, people were very nice and waved hello everytime. It felt safe and nice and quiet, away from traffic, but still close enough to walk to the centre and beach. Thushan’s wife, daughter and mother were very kind and nice to get to know. They helped me when I was feeling sick, and asked me how I was doing. Everything was very cheap as well! The cabin is sweet and everything you need. Gorgeous garden. Very homely feel. We never met Thushan, but contact with him was very good as well!

The hosts are very good people. Especially the really sweet lady that took her time to address all my issues in a very kind manner. She was there at any given moment. They welcomed us at a late hour and cooked us dinner. There's Wi-Fi, a fan and the place feels very private, no crowds

“A Lovely Stay”

It was such a great experience staying at Coco Cabins. I was passing through the area so just needed a place to sleep before leaving early the next morning. The little cabin was so sweet an honestly had everything you needed as well as being tidy and clean. It was such a treat to be so cosy inside while listening the sounds of nature. I also had dinner here which was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. The host and his family are such lovely, welcoming and accommodating people who really went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

I loved it ! I stayed 3 nights and I would have stayed longer if I didnt have to leave. The cabin is comfy and has a shelf and a plug sock next the the bed. You also have a towel and mosquitoe net. Super green and quiet. The staff is lovely. The owner even gave me a lift to the city and showed me some places I needed ti visit. The local breakfast is delicious! Im happy with their service! =)

Locality and hospitality

Nice and quiet place. The owner picked me up from the bus and even broght me again to bus stop. Very helpful.

Tushan is a very kind and respectful person and offers very nice and unique trips with his motorbike. I really enjoyed staying there, I felt safe and everything was so easy-going!

For the price, this is an amazing stay, Quiet location in a good area. Hosts are very friendly people and quickly to respond to any questions. Facilities are good. Can be a little hard to find. Although this is only something small.

It was a nice and comfortable place with a great atmosphere inside the hostel. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. My backpack got torn, and the lady at the hostel kindly repaired it for me, which was a really big help. The food there was very delicious and homemade. There was hot water in the shower. The beds had mosquito nets, which is a great feature. The bed also had clean sheets. I arrived early in the morning and was warmly welcomed.
