“Fantastic stay - great value for money and amazing staff.”
Fantastic location , off a very quiet road and set in peaceful garden with lots of wild life. The staff are so welcoming , helpful and friendly. The pool was well kept with sun loungers and pool towels. Great service at breakfast too. We only expected to stay 2 days and ended up staying 6.

I spent my last 2 nights in Sri Lanka in Canal Villa, and couldn't be happier. The villa is a serene oasis, with a beautiful garden and a pool. its an easy tuk tuk ride to restaurants and beach, and there's one local restaurant near by. The staff is attentive to every need.

I had an excellent experience at this guest house from start to finish. The staff was warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt welcomed. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and attention to detail. The location was perfect — convenient for exploring the area while still quiet enough to relax. The breakfast was fresh and varied, and handmade. Thanks for Body who was very helpfull to arrange tucktuck and restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely return. I highly recommend this geusthouse to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a great atmosphere!

“Perfect for family”
Aruna and Body greeted us warmly, also brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers to our room, helped us with all our problems, explained every question in detail, and fulfilled all our requests. Breakfast included freshly squeezed fruit juices, omelets, fruits, various Sri Lankan treats, and Sri Lankan coffee. Dinner was delicious and the portions were large. The garden was spacious and clean, the pool was a bit small but clean. Apart from a few minor issues, the house was generally clean, spacious, and suitable for a family of four. We also saw bats, peacocks, and squirrels at garden.We thoroughly enjoyed our time there; they were truly wonderful people. If I were to go to Sri Lanka again, I would definitely choose this place again.

We enjoyed our stay here the family were lovely.The room was big with a very comfortable bed nice furniture and a safety deposit box.We had a nice balcony with comfortable chairs.Everywhere was clean it has a great pool with sun loungers and lovely gardens.Breakfast was good a nice 3 night stay

Fabulous experience! The host went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for my mother’s 80th birthday- organising a surprise special birthday breakfast !! Room was fabulous- spacious and clean with everything you need. The pool was awesome to cool off in at the end of a day exploring the area. Awesome value for money!!

“Good hearted place and quite comfortable - would visit again.”
The location is a bit inland and not directly at the beach. We liked that however as a change of pace. The pool is surprisingly large and staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were always too much for our family as our kids could not finish the adult portions! The Sri Lankan omelette is actually great. And when we mentioned our daughter likes maracuja's we got great white maracuja's for breakfast the next day.

“Wonderful stay and good value for money.”
We loved waking up to the sounds of nature (lots of birds) and spotting the cute squirrels in the trees in front of our balcony. Also, Aruna, Nandana and Nandesiri made our stay a true pleasure! They had good tips for dinner (Olive restaurant! Walking distance), went out to get us some cold beers, served delicious Sri Lankan omelettes for breakfast and kept the premises and pool super clean. We had some minor issues in the room which they instantly fixed.
