This is a spectacularly clean and comfy residence on an immaculate beach, with few tourists. Wonderful friendly owners, who are honest and helpful. percent book it!

I have to say the best for this homestay. A very clean room with fan , air conditioner, mini fridge, mirror inside main room, a lot of hangings. Attached big private bathroom with warm water. A private mini kitchen, we didn't use it and a private veranda looking to a small but cute garden. Above all the most welcoming owners, very friendly, smiling and helpful. Property is around 7 minutes away from beach. You can find massage, restaurants, cafes very close. They suggested us two things. A male masseur who came in property. A river boat trip with a relative of them. We did both and both were very good. We also rent a scooter from a friend of them.

The hosts treated us really well. We had a really homely feeling. They are a beautiful family and tried their best to give us the comfort and privacy that we needed. The location is good - near to the beach, restaurants and the station.

Nice little Room in the back of a family house, 3min walk to the beach and Bentota Station. Supermarket about 5min away, as is a coffee house (Randy's coffee) and ATMs. Wifi and AC work, small fridge is there. Warm water in Shower over an electrical heater. Lovely patio where the enormous breakfast is served (1000Rs) and where in the morning you get woken up by the cute Squirrels. Really nice owner family, the mother speaks little English but her daughter is fluent and I even got everything sorted with the mother. Absolute value for money, no luxury but a solid accommodation if you plan to spend your day exploring anyhow.

Nice room attached to the family home but with a separate entrance from the back. There is a table to sit outside in the back surrounded by a little garden area. Room and bathroom were quite clean. Air-conditioner worked very well. Nice hot shower. Breakfast is not included but the owner can make you breakfast if you ask (extra cost of 1100 LKR). I would highly recommend getting breakfast here. She made so much food for me. Curry, fruit, coconut roti, string hoppers, woodapple juice, fruit, egg, etc. all of it was delicious! WiFi is also very good when sitting inside the bedroom.

Amazing friendly staff, delicious breakfast and impeccably clean, nice patio. The staff came out and lit mosquito repellent for us without us having to ask. It is a nice quiet area but maybe 5-7 min to the beach and 10 to the closest restaurant.

The Bentota Orchid House is a beautiful little homestay. The sitting area outside the room is gorgeous and the breakfast we ordered was really good and so big we hardly finished it. The room was big and had aircon and the bathroom was big, too. It was clean and we had everything we needed. The people who brought us breakfast were always smiling and looked very friendly. The location is great. Just a short walk from the ocean and the city.

I recommend this place. The owners are really nice. Room was clean. They welcomed us with little flours and towel swan on the bed :) and amazing mango juice! breakfast was huge and delicious! We were full for half of the day. And what is important- there was no problem with vegan diet. The owners are supported by their daughter- she answers every question. She helped us with bus timetable. Just make reservation :)
