Good 1 night stay in Benoni Suburbs

The accommodation booking company asked when we would be checking in. I answered from 09:00 to 10:00 on Saturday, 14 March 2026. When I arrived at 09:05 at the gate of the BnB, I waited for 15minutes before a lady came to ask if I had paid or not, and I was not expected. She called "her boss' and I spoke to him, and he did not allow me to explain that I booked from 14 March 2026 and leaving 15 March 2026. The lady allowed me in, but the rooms were not ready. We left, and the lady said that her boss would send me the "code" without explaining what that meant. We were the only guests at the BnB. On arrival at 18:00 at the BnB, the gate did not open. We hooted at the gate, and again we waited for 15 minutes before the lady came to see who was at the gate. She opened and showed us to our rooms. The rooms looked good, but when we opened the sheets, they had not been changed for new sheets for a while, as there were ants in the bed and in the coffee jar. When I woke up, my sons, and I were itchy even after a shower the whole day. When we left, the code at the gate did not work. We hooted for the lady to let us out again. I would not recommend this BnB to anyone. This is the Second time I have used a BnB with my family in the area. I'll use the BnB I stayed at the last time we were there in October 2025

Paid for a room with air conditioning , got a fan that didn’t work and a 2 pin plug death trap.

The privacy of the area was good. The area is in a nice closed off area and very quiet.

The single beds that were put together to make a bigger bed kept moving apart and being uncomfortable

The staff was very friendly. She helped us out a lot. I also liked how everything that was seen online about the place was exactly like it was described.

“Terrible service from the owner. Rude and not willing to listen to his customers”

The owner refused to give me a tax invoice and then decided to hang up on me. I have been trying to get an invoice for over a month, and he keeps promising me this. Recently, he told me to use the booking confirmation as an invoice. I am very disappointed, and I asked at reception before I went in if he will be able to give an invoice, and they insisted he would send it to me.
