Little resort on the opposite side of the Trishuli river. If you come by bus, leave at Benigath. Friendly stuff picked us up there by jeep. Even if you are not interested in rafting, it's a good hangout for some days. You don't hear the highway.

Great stay with activities tailored to our experience and requirements. The whole team were very welcoming and it was a peaceful place to stay.

Went there to paddle the river. The team on duty went out of their way to make me welcome. This is the off season so they made a special effort to do the river trip with me. Equipment was very modern and well kept. I was a bit out of practice so I felt in safe hands with my guides. Accomodation was great. The place has been built from scratch and with a lot of thought. Just what you need when doing river trips in Nepal.

“Worth seeing”

This place is quite impressive and unique. It is a beautiful project at the crossing of two rivers, away from the busy street and the village. It is definitely worth checking out for an overnight stop over or if you also book a rafting or kayaking trip. But be sure to book the activities ahead of time otherwise there might be nothing available when you arrive (which is what happened to me). Don't be mistaken: this is not a resort, built by a large corporation and professionally managed. It is a personal project, a beautiful camping location with charming stone cottages and full amenities (ie glamping). Other than that, the staff is extremely nice and the meals they cook are delicious, fresh, and fairly priced (although they won't tell you the price until you check out, which is a little worrisome when you are on a budget) All in all it is a beautiful project and extremely kind staff. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay as you are fully dependent on the hosts, but it is highly recommended for a two night stop over or a longer stay if together with a rafting or kayaking activity.

“Caring, fun, super good team!”

We stayed at Rivers Edge Resort in late September 2024 when Nepal experienced the worst floods in recent history. We were humbled by nature but most of all by the awesome team. When the flood reached scary levels, they took control and helped us to higher ground until it was safe to return. We were without electricity for most of the time following the flood but the team made us feel comfortable, safe and truly at home. Moreover, they cooked the most amazing meals for us, just on a gas stove by candle light! We left full of respect and gratefulness to have spent 4 days with beautiful, caring people. We can’t recommend the team and resort high enough and will be forever grateful.

The property was exactly what I was looking for it was a relaxing calming space with friendly staff and beautiful scenery. The rooms were decorated well and had comfy beds. Even tho I went during off season I was welcomed well and the 2 guys working there made me feel at home, we played cards and ate dinner together which was nice :) the manager also made an extra effort to arrange transport and check in during my journeys. I hope to visit again and for longer !

What a beautiful place!! Amazing people, delicious food (best dal bhat we had during 1 month in nepal) and a nice river to go swimming or rafting. We felt super welcomed and would recommend it to everyone, go there if you want to experience nepal’s hospitality and explore a local village.

“Great stay despite all the rain”

Staff here are amazing, went out of the way to make sure I was happy and comfortable despite catching the last of the monsoon rains.

The location of the lodge between the two rivers is amazing. Great view of the river, mountains, and nature. Our room was very nice and furnished with a lot of love and an eye for the detail. The garden with the small traditional houses is like a little paradise. Sali and his team were very welcoming and fun to hang around.The rafting trip was awesome, a great experience, and was very professionally organized.

The resort is located right by the river, close to Nature and the beds in the little stone houses are super comfortable. The staff made sure I was taken care of 24/7. They picked me up from the bus station, cooked for me and even went on a 8h hike on one of the days. They were very friendly, I had a great time!
