There's not a huge amount of choice in Beni Mellal - I had another booking in town but they cancelled me at very late notice so I was happy to get into El Bassatine. Friendly staff. Room a little tired but nothing badly wrong.

Photos are misleading, is old and not maintained. Dinner was horrible, poor, one person dining the restaurant, very limited menu, zero athmosphere. Recommend dinner in town. Great places there.

“A nice enough place for a rest after a long drive around Morocco.”
This place was a bit tired. The potential for it to be great again is there as the pool is excellent and so are the rooms. We had no hot water at times but think it is solar powered so that's ok. We told staff one of our chairs on our terrace was broken and they said they would come in half an hour but they never did. The breakfast was nice enough but could be greatly improved if there was an egg station where someone makes omelettes and fried eggs etc. Pastries were always stale. The best thing was the french bread, jams, boiled eggs and olives. Otherwise the rest could be left out.
