This modern hotel and its popular restaurant are in the pretty little town of Benesov, 40 km southeast of Prague, famous for its history and Konopiště castle. The castle was the last residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, whose assassination in Sarajevo started World War I. The castle is one of the most famous and popular historical sites of the area, and also one of its most beautiful. Every year tourists flock to Benesov to visit the castle. The area’s excellent golfing facilities make it a popular destination for golf enthusiasts and the tranquil beauty of the region makes it ideal for a relaxing break. The hotel has excellent access to the nearby main road into Prague and its traditional trattoria and pizzeria is popular with locals and visitors as well as hotel guests.

“Excellent”
Near motorway, but very quit place, very helpful lady at the reception desk: we should leave hotel and 7:00, breakfast is from 7:00, but for us it will be possible to have it at 6:30. Very grateful for this.

Great location for the Konopiste Castle, which is a walkable distance away (a bit tricky to cross the busy road but can done). Nice big rooms, free parking in front of the hotel. The highlight was the dinner we had in the restaurant, every dish was perfect.

“We didn’t go”
Non-existing customer service. We asked for an extension of our stay but the hotel was unable to help us change our booking despite free rooms. We ended up not going and booking an alternative.

“A great place to stay with a family”
Benica is so amazing that me and my family are always looking forward to get back there when visiting Benesov. Particularly for small kids this is the place to visit with two well equipped indoor playrooms and an outdoor playground. Good food in the restaurant, spacious rooms. Try to get one with the huge bath if it is available. I hope to be back there again sometimes.

Very beautiful place, lovely food for normal prices, huge room, multiple amenities for children, wetness, parking for free watched by cameras. The while hotel is very spacious, light, no small dark corridors. Very pleasant staff.
