“Disappointing”
Since the property was rented in early February, someone should have checked that the electricity supply was functioning. I arrived to a dark, cold flat. Once the electricity was restored, it took a good twelve hours for the flat to warm up. There was no hot water on the first night. As a result, I left the apartment on the following morning - and advised the flat manager that the cleaners could come in a day early. No real apology for the disappointment - and no offer to reimburse the unused, second night.
