Housed in a historical Victorian Building built in 1854, The Hotel Shamrock boasts a variety of on-site dining venues. The hotel is located in the heart of Bendigo, adjacent to Rosalind Park and 1.7 km from Bendigo Railway Station. The air-conditioned guest rooms are fitted with a fridge, an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The en suite bathroom offers free toiletries and shower. As an elderly couple we were inconvenienced by the steep stairs in to our apartment. The lack of parking facilities and indeed any nearby disability parking even for a short time is a real detraction. ** We were very much looking forward to the traditional , heritage ambiance but surprised at the tired and neglected appearance of the lobby and common areas.

“A beautiful old hotel right in the centre of Bendigo.”
Great position, almost opposite the Information Centre, free 24 hour parking in multi-storey carpark. It's a magnificent old hotel, from a time when Bendigo was a wealthy place. Beautiful staircase, great breakfast and great menu, marble-tiled bathroom, really comfy bed.
