“Lovely place to stay!”
If you love trains, this is the place to stay in Bendigo! The accommodation has a train line at the back close to the crossing & periodically you hear the train whistle & the crossing bells, loved this! It wasn't noisy at all, but the provided earplugs are on bedside tables if it bothers you. I REALLY enjoyed the trains! Accommodation was very clean & basic homey. Bed comfortable, nice garden surroundings. Everything provided. Close to station & shops.

“Tiny garden cottage in suburban garden was warm and clean.”
Location 1km from station suited us. Short walk into town for dinner and breakfast. Bendigo wide streets, avenues of autumn leaves, marble monuments, parks and colonial architecture, all delightful. People are friendly, warm & welcoming. Wine bars stocked with local and international wines. Tapas plates interesting and affordable. Bottle shop nearby for further supplies for Mildura. Heaters kept the cottage cosy. Bed was firm & comfortable.

“Great value, central, comfortable ... what more could you want for a short stay?”
Very central location, within easy walking distance of Bendigo CBD (so no need to drive to reach restaurants), and not a single train noise ... despite the property proximity to the local rail line. We were visiting from a large city, so train noise is no big deal anyway!
