This 3-star hotel is located in Benasque, merely 50 metres from the city centre with excellent connections to the ski resort of Cerler and the Posets-Maladeta Nature Reserve. With its beautiful mountains and snow white pines, the stunning scenery is set in the surrounding magnificent valley. My friend and I stayed at San Anton for two nights during a long-distance trek. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us in spite of our very last-minute booking. The breakfast was tasty and very filling and on the day we were leaving the staff arranged a picnic breakfast because we were leaving early in the morning, which even included hot coffee! Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the hotel is less than five minutes walk from various restaurants.

“Disappointing for the high price we paid”
The room was tiny. We were three in a room for 4 and didn’t have space for even placing the suitcases. The safe box didn’t have battery and one of the TVs didn’t work.

“Quite a pleasant hotel but NOT dog 'friendly'”
The hotel was listed as dog friendly. It's only dog tolerant. They charge an extra 10 eu if you have a dog. But dogs not to be left alone in the bedroom and dogs are not allowed in any other than the outdoors dining area. So how are you supposed to get anything to eat in the hotel! Also, when I accidentally walked my dog through the dining area (i'd gone in the wrong door) I got a very stroppy member of staff almost shouting at me.

“Fantastic place with warm and friendly welcome”
Rooms were lovely, cosy reception and great restaurant. Receptionist was extremely helpful and gave us loads of information. Restaurant was great and good value for money. Staff in restaurant were also really kind, friendly and professional.
