“BEDBUGS - DON’T RISK IT”

We booked 6 nights. After our first night my son woke up with bites on his body, and when I inspected his sheet I found unmistakable evidence of bedbugs. We immediately packed up our things and booked accommodation elsewhere as soon as we could. I went to reception and the man apologised and said that I should be refunded for all the remaining nights, but that I would need to contact booking.com. We left and then when I contacted booking.com the reply came back that the campsite had refused to refund. Our holiday was ruined, we had to book an expensive apartment, and spend our time washing all of our things multiple times and hoping we manage to stop the bedbugs coming home with us.

The campsite was really lovely, the kids loved the pool with slides. The tent was clean, the private bathroom was great, and it felt like we had space outside. Has been kids favourite part of our holiday and is really good value

Friendly staff, clean facilities, kids loved the pool and slides. Perfectly located for chateaux and canoeing adventures.

The campground was beautiful in a great location for sightseeing around the Dordogne. Short drive into gorgeous Belvès but not really walking distance with kids. Restaurant in the campground is good.

We were looking for a quality camping/mobile vacation at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we found. My review is also more than favourable because we our stay coincided with no one else being around and it was wonderfully quiet with full use of the pools and slides at our leisure. We stayed in one of the mobile homes, which had ample room to act as a base for a family of four. Each of the extra rooms had 2 singles and our master was big enough to lay on the bed comfortably but not to walk around. The shower was big enough for both girls to be in there comfortably after playing in the pool. We spent most of the days out visiting the local French areas within 15, 30 and 45mins away and there is A LOT to see and experience. Chateaus, gardens, the Dordogne river and a ton of exquisite dining places. The on-site staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the pool area was very nice and chilled. There was one heated and partially covered pool which most gravitate towards, then they plunge into the 2 other fun pools which are colder, but refreshing. The restaurant food was more than ok but we only ate there once because there are so many other places to eat offsite.
