This refuge exceeded my expectations. It is small but has incredible charm and atmosphere and one can feel really surrounded by nature there. The hosts are very interesting people. They are friendly and welcoming and really try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and would stay even longer if it wasn't for rather short duration of my trip to Sicily. When I come to hike more around Etna I will certainly stay there as it is very good entry point for visiting the area. I'm sure I could add much more but reviews can't be that long, so Ill just say - I recommend!
