Very polite and friendly host. They helped us back to the city by driving us. Very understandable on small changes of the reservation. The property is very nice, gorgeous view of Sicilian countryside. The house is clean and all amenities included. Beds confy, bathrooms clean.

The place is very welcoming, and few mins away from etnaland. Definitely will see us again.

“Quirky little cottage”

Three quirky little cottages in a gated area. Walking distance to Etnaland and surrounded by nature. Owner is very responsive. There was a problem with shortage of water supply but owners fixed it very quickly. Kids loved the little playground.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was impressed by a few key aspects. First and foremost, the property was spotlessly clean, which made our stay comfortable. The views from the apartment were pretty great, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop. One unique feature that we particularly enjoyed was the presence of cats around the property. If you're a cat lover like us, this will be a delightful bonus! However, for those who might not be fond of cats or are allergic, it’s something to keep in mind before booking. That said, there are some things future guests should be aware of. While the apartment itself is comfortable, it offers only the bare basics; water, shower gel (no shampoo or conditioner) and two rolls of toilet paper which were obviously not enough and we therefore had to run out to get more during our stay. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue, but the location exacerbates the problem. The apartment is in the middle of nowhere, with no nearby shops or public transportation. This means you’re entirely dependent on the owners to drive you anywhere close (provided you are 4 people or less), or you’re left paying exorbitant taxi fees. If you don’t have a car, you may find yourself stuck inside with little to no options. In our case, the owner kindly took us to EtnaLand and Etnapolis, which are less than a 10-minute drive away. The cost for these trips varied from 20 to 35 euros (one day we were charged 20euros to be taken to EtnaPolis and returned whilst another time we were charged 20euros simply to be taken - the pricing is not consistent) Lastly, while the property is conveniently close to EtnaLand and Etnapolis, it’s important to note that it’s not safe to walk there. The streets lack pavements, making it a risky trek on foot. In conclusion, the property is lovely in terms of cleanliness, views (and if you’re a fan of cats). However, the isolation and lack of amenities make it less than ideal for those without their own transportation.

“Very nice and quiet environment”

This place is fantastically placed in the country side and is ideal for some time in the quiet and a couple of visits at etnaland. The cats are nice company. The house is rather big and it is well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the tv had many channels. There is an ac in every room as well so you dont feel the heat.

“A piece of haven in Sicily”

The appartment was immaculately clean and had all the facilities listed and more. The host was very friendly. The property is Close to Etnalnand and shopping malls. There is a lovely front terrace enjoying country views. Coco the dog kept us company😍

Everything was perfect. the hosts were so nice they even offered us to drive us and dropped off at etnapolis and came for us to go back again. The House was amazing peaceful with an amazing view and everything was so clean. Wish that we could have stayed more. If we would go to Sicily again would definately stay at the same location.

“Just Amazing”

We were picked up from the airport early in the morning, taken shopping and later taken to the property. No hassle at all. Valeria and her colleague were just amazing. This property is literally the closest you can get to Etnaland park, which is just round the corner; 6 minute walk. It is very quiet, full of almond and olive trees, with amazing countryside views. Breakfast was abundantly provided, with lots of different cereals, jams, biscuits, juices, yoghurts etc.. The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable, fully airconditioned. It was fine for 6 adults. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, utensils and crockery which we used since we cooked our dinners.

When we arrived at the property our car battery died! But the property owner, Maurizio, saved us! He was very helpful and got us a new battery. We loved staying here, it was gorgeous! The cabin is big enough with two large bedrooms, a kitchen, and a shower room. We made a BBQ on the porch after sundown . . . it was a different experience here! The property is set on a ridge and is surrounded by nature, with a panoramic view of a vast landscape and the city of Catania in the distance. Two minutes' drive from the property is Etnaland, Sicily's waterpark complex, which is where we headed on the following day. Thanks, Valeria and Maurizio for your help and hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay in Manderleo. We were visiting Etnaland and the location was excellent (in walking distance). Valeria was so helpful and also helped us to arrange a trip to Mount Etna. The property itself was very spacious and well set up for self catering. The air conditioning was excellent and there was Netflix for the kids. There was also plenty of parking, which was free.
