Simple, but comfortable and intimate. Smart holiday house that well transformed a traditional house into a modern location. Beautiful view to the mountains, the natural green valley and the traditional Bulgarian village. Very hospitable hosts.

Very clean house, suitable for 6-7 people. Heaters, bathrooms, wifi, and hot water all worked well. It's not fancy, but it's cozy and we really enjoyed our stay. Felt nice to get off the tourist trail and experience something closer to real life in this beautiful part of Bulgaria. Our kids loved the loft bedroom. Lilly was very sweet and accommodating. She met us in the pouring rain to show us the way to the house, left milk, eggs, and yogurt, and made us a banitsa breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed exploring the small village on foot, felt like we met half the town in our 1 hour walk. Not easy to communicate if you don't know at least a little bit of Bulgarian. The jacuzzi is wood-heated so you need to give the owners at least half a day's notice if you want to use it. About a 20 minute drive to Belogradchik.

We absolutely loved our stay at this vacation home! From the cozy and comfortable house to the idyllic location, there was so much to love. The backyard and jacuzzi were a fantastic added bonus, but what truly made our trip special was the amazing host. We couldn't have asked for a more hospitable and accommodating host. In fact, we would go as far as to say that this host deserves the title of "The Best Host of 2022"! We highly recommend this vacation home and its incredible host to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Location is beutiful. Stakevtsi is surprisingly large village. As it goes nowadays, ppl are departing it for greener pastures in the cities. Somehow the melancholy of departed glory gives it lovely emotional atmosphere. The house is renewed with very good taste, nothing overly extravagant but very elegant. Some things are not 100% finished yet, but hey - it just means it is gonna be even better next time. Hot Jacuzzi with wife in the middle of night full of stars was magical. Special place in our hearths has hostess Lillya. Such a nice person. Our conversations in bulgarian / slovak / english / italian / russian may not have been fluent but were for sure cool. She was always helpfull, her breakfast hot, fresh, tasty. Proper insect nets, something i will ways treasure. I love cold showers and water was properly cold, not just let's pretend cold. And properly hot for the rest of the pack :-) The nights were buttery quiet, we slept like babies.
