The house was dirty, there was dead spiders and cobwebs in the cupboards, there was cobwebs hanging over the cooker, the cooker was filthy. There was stains on the bed sheets including blood stains. There was spiders and spider eggs under the pillow on the single bed. This bed is not shown in the photos, the house is different to the photos. There was a folder on a coffee table, from reading this we found out we would have to pay extra for any electricity or heating we used during our stay, this was not stated anywhere at the time of booking. Windows unable to be opened, no soap in the bathrooms apart from a dirty bar of soap. Dead bug in the kitchen sink, hair on the sponge by kitchen sink, dishwasher without dishwasher tablets. Description on booking.com says there is WiFi, there is no WiFi not even a router to be found in the house. We went to the near by Aldi and bought bed sheets for our first night and the following morning we packed up and left as none of us were comfortable not even the kids felt comfortable to stay. On checking out when we were explaining to Mary why we were leaving and said about the cooker being filthy she opened the oven door and slammed it shut saying it’s a brand new cooker! We had paid a €100 refundable deposit at check in and the next morning got €96 back and to get this we had to follow Mary to another property as she forgot to bring it with her when she came to inspect the house. Mary advised if we wanted a refund we would have to contact booking.com to get a refund which we did almost 6 weeks later we have yet to receive a refund as Mary is ignoring calls and emails from booking.com. They say they need her to confirm we left the property early and she’s happy to have us refunded. Wish I could add more than 4 photos, I have videos of spiders crawling under the pillows

The location was brilliant & Mary the owner is so lovely. Very helpful with any queries & came back to me immediately. It gives a real authentic Irish experience from old. Very quiet & peaceful & really handy if you’re visiting your children in Colaiste Uisce Gaeltacht.

In the middle of Mullet peninsula and with a lovely sandy beach 3min walk from the house. Spacious rooms. Nice views from the kitchen window.

Such a cute cosy cottage. Immaculately clean and warm. Beds so comfortable. Located near Tra Oligh on the Black sod and also close to Coloiste Uisce.

Well, Mary was very nice and welcoming to us. She left a lot of towels, which is great( we have 4 kids) . Fine big 3 bedrooms( 3 doubles, 1 single) , 3 bathrooms( 2 showers) At this price for 6 days during the summer season, it seems to be good. There are two beaches within 10 minutes by car.

Spacious and lovely cottage, great facilities, peaceful area, we really enjoyed our stay and sitting by the stove in the evening. Mary is a very friendly host. Mullet peninsula is stunning, beautiful beaches all around.
