“Ideal if you are looking for a unique stay in France, in a traditional home with period furniture.”
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the quality of the beds and bedding. The apartment was extremely comfortable and made our stay a joy. The owners were also very generous with heating and the apartment was lovely and cosy and there was plenty of hot water. It is close to an excellent range of local shops and produce. Definitely walk along to the boulangerie in the morning and the butchers close by has an excellent range of local produce an is more than a butchers. In between is a little supermarket. Parking was very easy at the property. The owners were friendly and kind and we also enjoyed their bar and brocante.

“Lovely stay.”
Charming, lovely property. Nice and quiet. Self contained flat as a bedroom. Great parking, so car is safe.Very nice couple run the property. Wish I could of speak French.

What a find!!! La Guingette is a hidden gem in the heart of the Bellême. We loved the location - so central and you could easily access the local amenities such as the supermarket, boulangerie etc on foot. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. We also loved the open air cafe downstairs with a pool table for the kids being a big highlight. Michael and Malika were the perfect hosts.
