Fantastic view!

“Wonderful stay, amazing location.”

Amazing view, clean, good size, good facilities. Luisa was lovely and helpful. Nice new bath towels, cleaning supplies included and basics like oil and salt.

Had such a lovely stay here!! Beautiful view of Lake Como :) place was clean, shower water was hot throughout stay, place was easy to keep at a comfortable temperature during the start of cooler weather. Owner could not have done more for us, very clear instructions for property access and prompt at replying on WhatsApp throughout our stay - gave great suggestions for what to do whilst at Lake Como/Bellano and even for Milan. Parking at Bellano Train station for full day was approx €19. Easy free street parking. Able to always have a park right outside of gate to property. House on shared land, locked by gate always, quiet street also so no stress about car/belonging safety.

Beautiful view to the lake and mountains and has a private parking! Very quiet place, far from main road and night life. It corresponds to property name ‘ferry tale’. The host lady is extremely pleasant, warm and friendly! I definitely recommend this place for calm and romantic stay for couples!

Amazing view through the balcony!

Good views from the balcony. Sunsets. Awesome boat rental at Sailing Garage in Bellano. 4 hours to explore the lake for around 200€ is well worth it (this is for 2 person boat, you drive it yourself, minimum is 3h). Access to ferries to travel to other towns on lake Como (Varenna, Bellagio, Mennagio, etc). Also be aware if you are not using the car to get around, walking from Bellano to apartment is rather steep 20min walk for a fit person. There are bus lines, but they are not frequent, 4-6 in a day, last one is from Bellano train/bus station at 18:05. Note that if you are going to buy bus/train tickets you have to enter the train/bus station and go down the stairs, tickets are bought at a cafe (not the most pleasant guy you will meet, barely speaks English, also this might change due to train station renovation that is ongoing)

“Great view, large beds, but disappointing amenities and experience”

We agree with the comments on booking.com that the view is absolutely fantastic. Basically, you pay (quite a lot) for this view and the relatively large beds. Also, contact with the host is very good, she responds quickly and tries to help you. But she is not the owner, and that is the problem: this apt needs some attention and maintenance!

Spotless, peaceful, and felt very private. There was plenty of space for four of us to relax comfortably. Best of all, the view was absolutely spectacular—something we won’t forget. A perfect spot to unwind!

“The view is the best feature”

The view was amazing and it kind of made up for the rest inconveniences. It is fully open view on the lake and the mountains. The neighbourhood was great, higher on the hill, overlooking Bellano town.

Excellent communication and property. We got there at 6 at night and by time we got up the hill we did not realise there were no shops and a bottle of water in the fridge would have been perfect. We moved one of the bedside tables to find an ear plug and it was very dusty and something stuck and dirty under there.
