Overview
The Meridiana is a small family-run hotel offering direct access to Lake Como from its garden, and 2 terraces. Rooms are compact and cosy. Each is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, tea/coffee maker, and private bathroom with bath and shower. Most rooms feature a furnished balcony overlooking the lake. During summer meals are served on the lake-view terrace. There is also a wine cellar on site, where tastings can be organised. Another lake-view terrace with sun deck and hot tub is also at guests' disposal. The hotel offers a parking with an extra charge. It is located between the villages of Varenna and Dervio, both a 10-minute drive away.

“A gem on Lake Como”
This hotel is a gem on Lake Como. The hotel is situated on the shore of Lake Como where you can hear the sound of waves lapping against the shore and see the fish swimming in the crystal clear waters from your balcony. The staff are very friendly and the owner is especially considerate and passionate about the needs of his guests.

“A treat for all the senses”
The location of thehotel and its’ restaurant situated literally at the water’s edge is without doubt the stand out feature but when combined with the efficiency and friendliness of the hotel and restaurant team and superb dining experience it all makes for a memorable stay. Set on the main road ……but this is not an issue, as fairly sure all the 12 bedrooms face the lake, and our room was extremely quiet and well insulated…it is 5-10 mins easy walking up from the town, add another 5-10 to the station which is by far the best way to get from Milan unless of course you want to tour every town! We found it exceptionally clean and a good range offered on the breakfast buffet. The restaurant offers exceptional food of a fine dining quality, which naturally comes at a cost but totally worth it. General Manager, Angelo is on hand to ensure your stay is as good as it can be and nothing is too much trouble …. as he did for us in advising about boat times on a day when the trains were on strike.

“Unforgettable views”
5 star service by the manager. The hotel was in a lovely quiet location, rooms have a view by the lake, transport links nearby to travel to nearby towns and plenty of restaurant locations would definitely return in the future

The breakfast room was amazing, probably best views I've ever had for it! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is a scenic short walk to the town of Bellano where you can take the train or ferry. The floor to ceiling windows in our deluxe room with a large balcony were amazing for the view. Very clean hotel and room.

The team are so lovely, very thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the lake, a great view. The room was spotlessly clean and comfy..Breakfast was great, as was dinner, the pasta was so delicious! Parking was booked in advance and on site. Easy stroll into town. A great stay. Thank you!

“Great staff and facilities at hotel meridiana”
Lake como was even more beautiful than we expected it to be, especially bellagio and menaggio, but what made it extra special was the staff at hotel meridiana. So helpful but incredibly sweet and kind. Bellano is quieter than some other towns on the lake, which is a nice break from the crowds. It is easy to get to the other towns though.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Meridiana on Lake Como. The view from the room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the lake and creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent, offering delicious food and a memorable dining experience. What made the stay even more special was the outstanding service – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I would happily return.

“Angelo is amazing”
breakfast was great the restaurant for dinner was great they had this juice that I wish I could take him with me. We loved Angelo and all the staff there we told him that we were leaving very early in the morning and he had prepped breakfast lunchboxes before we left that was the kindest we have seen of any hotel
