From start to finish our stay was amazing. Paola and her husband picked us up and returned us to the train station which was so helpful. The apartment was clean and had amazing views of the lake even from the bedroom. Little things just made it even better with tea/coffee water and milk on arrival. Lovely little town to stay in and great location of the apartment. Would highly recommend and stay again!

“Beautiful Bellano”

The location with beautiful views of the lake and promenade and close to the ferry, supermarket, bakery and cafes. Well provided with equipment and all the little extras eg oil, pepper & salt, laundry and dishwasher tablets etc. Spacious apartment with a very comfortable bed. We also enjoyed our sunset drink at nearby Bistrot Bellano.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lift from the station when we arrived and when we left. We had everything we needed in the apartment.

Casa Luisa is a recently renovated apartment with amazing views over Bellano, Lake Como and to the Alps. Paola the host was very welcoming and met us at the Ferry terminal, drove us to the apartment and dropped us to the station. The apartment had everything you needed modern cooking facilities, fridge freezer washing machine. The bathroom was well appointed and modern. The bed was comfortable with full cupboard space and another view over lake Como from the bedroom. Good access to Bellano by train and ferry. Great walks via ‘Sentiero Del Viandeante’ south to Perledo and Varenna. Easy walk to town and supermarket.

Paola kindly collected us and took us back to the station and communicated promptly before and during our stay. She was very helpful, even coming over in a torrential storm when we couldn't work out how to get a light to work. The views and location are excellent. Supermarket, bakery and a couple of bars/café with in 5 minutes level walk. Beach just round the corner, ferries 2min walk. Perfect place to just sit on the balcony, watching boats, sipping wine.

Everything was perfect! The room was clean, and the view of Lake Como was wonderful!

The apartment is a good size and has lovely views of the lake with a small balcony. The location is excellent for catching a ferry (just 2 min walk) to other towns on the lake. There is a garage available which suits small to mid size cars. We parked our car for three days and just used the ferries. Well equipped kitchen and our lovely host even left us a bottle of wine, water and several snacks. Highly recommend.

*Casa Luisa Bellano* A cozy and welcoming apartment. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted in person by the lovely owner of Casa Luisa. Waiting for us in the fridge was chilled water and a bottle of prosecco — such a thoughtful touch. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need: cleaning supplies, an iron, hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, as well as coffee and tea. You'll also find brochures with local attractions, maps, and a personalized Casa Luisa booklet containing all the essential information for your stay. The location is simply perfect — right on the promenade, just a 3-minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the town center, where you’ll find charming cafés, restaurants, and the ferry port. Nearby, there are bus stops with connections to Colico and Lecco, two supermarkets, and many unmissable sights. Right next to the building, there’s a playground for children. On Thursday, we stumbled upon a lovely local market offering clothes, bags, spices, fruits, vegetables, and regional delicacies. We truly felt cared for and welcomed. The view from the balcony stole our hearts. It was hard to say goodbye... We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment — and we will definitely be back.

“Nice stay at Bellano”

Well-equipted flat with a nice view of Lago di Como. It offers everything you need there. Private garage included. Paola let us come earlier even though the check in was at 4pm, we really appreciated it!

We were greeted by the lovely owners of the apartment. Parking was a bonus, in a garage. The apartment s well equipped and beautifully decorated. A balcony an all rooms giving a view of Bellano and lake Como. I highly recommend this as a. Restful place to stay.

Perfect apartment in a perfect town. Paula and Dante are wonderful hosts. The apartment has panoramic views across Lake Como and is a short walk along the esplanade to the wonderful restaurants and cafes of charming Bellano, also the ferry wharf for easy sightseeing visits to nearby towns. The apartment is modern, well appointed, tranquil and spotlessly clean, plus it has secure on site parking. We highly recommend this wonderful property.

The apartment was really clean and spacious with amazing views over the lake and mountains. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening looking at the lake. It was also convenient with a baby as there is an elevator in the building and Paola provided us with a travel cot. We liked the calm atmosphere in Bellano and can recommend staying in Bellano if you prefer to avoid the crowds in Varenna and Bellagio. Grazie Paola!

Amazing apartment and hosts! A gorgeous, clean apartment right on the water. The small balcony has the most gorgeous view of Lake Como and the mountains. Everything you could want is here and we were so appreciative of the transfers provided by the lovely host who went above and beyond. Highly recommended!!!

“Wonderful apartment in perfect location with generous hosts.”

Paola was a great communicator and met us at the train station in the evening to take us to the property. We appreciated her and her husband doing this immensely as it was raining and it made things so much easier. They also let us leave our luggage in their garage after checkout and drove us back to the train station. The apartment is in a perfect location overlooking the lake and is within walking distance to restaurants, bars and other attractions. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and towels of high quality. There was even biscuits and coffee machine for our use. We could not fault anything.

The apartment is spacious, clean and with a splendid view of the lake and Bellano old town. The living room has a balcony. The location was perfect, just 3 mins by foot to the ferry pier and 6 mins on foot to the train station. It was well equipped with modern kitchen appliances and a lift. Many thanks to the owners for their effort to make our trip a lot easier. They greeted us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. They allowed us to store our luggages in their garage and drove us back to the train station on our check-out date. The owners were very kind, nice, responsive and helpful. They are very punctual on our scheduled meeting time. We would recommend this apartment to everybody.

“Bellano is a wonderful town on Lake Como and you couldn't find many better apartments than Casa Luis”

The host collected us from the station after a tiring day travelling and showed us round the appartment. We were impressed by the size of the rooms, the artwork on the walls and the high quality of the furniture and fittings. We arrived in the dark and were blown away with the view out the window in the morning. We were close to the the lakeside and could see across the lake, the mountains to the north and the town of Bellano climbing up the hillside. As we started to use the facilities we found everything we needed was provided to a high standard. We only spent 2 nights in Bellano but would consider returning and using Casa Luisa again.

Casa Luisa was in an excellent location in Bellano with a simply stunning view of the lake. The apartment itself was beautiful with great modern facilities and furniture. We could not have been happier with the apartment and Paola and Dante were wonderful hosts meeting us at the railway station on arrival and dropping us off at the end of our stay.
