Overview
Locanda della Maria is located very close to Porto San Giovanni ferry port, 100 metres from Lake Como and 2 km from Bellagio center. Breakfast is in a buffet style and has sweet and savoury products, such as cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, and homemade bread and croissants. A selection of teas are available in the communal area. All air conditioned, the rooms feature a flat-screen TV, modern furnishings, and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. Wi-Fi is free throughout. A bus to/from Bellagio and Como stops a few minutes' walk from the property. There is a pier with ferries to/from Bellagio that run every hour.

“Enjoyable time but in future would avoid bank holidays and weekends.”
The two ladies at the property were very friendly and extremely helpful. They looked up information for us to enable us to have the most of our stay. A large bedroom and bathroom which were immaculately clean. Pleasant breakfast room with good choices of meats, cereals, fruit, pancakes and fresh cake every day. Ferry stop about 3 minute walk away called San Giovanni. You can buy a ticket on board which saves lots of time. However ferries are not very frequent from this stop. We arrived over a bank holiday weekend which was very busy in Bellagio so always tried to use the local ferry stop. We stayed 5 nights and also walked several times into the centre of Bellagio. It took 25 mins(we don’t walk slow) but it wasn’t a problem.

Such a great place to stay. We loved everything about it. Best breakfast ever. Such fantastic service and nice people and caring and take a lot of pride and everything. They do comfortable beds as well and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend.

The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was very good. It is a quiet and cosy place, the harbour for ferry is in the nearby. We had a very pleasant stay there and we recomand this location. Many thanks to our hosts, they were extremely kind.
