Great location, we had lake view which was nothing below outstanding. Clean, functional and cosy rooms. Nice breakfast, all you need and a little more. Very friendly staff, have lots of tips on hikes, boat trips and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place.

The staff on this hotel are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely and quiet and the breakfast was gorgeous. Love this hotel and literally a few footsteps from the ferry. It was a bit chilly when we stayed so we didn't use the outdoor restaurant but the views from the lake from here were stunning.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable - it truly felt like a perfect place to relax after a long day. The cleanliness was impeccable; every detail was taken care of, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The location is another huge advantage - perfectly situated, making it easy to get around and explore the area. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.

The lake front position

The location is perfect as with suitcases, you have to travel just 1-2 mins to reach the hotel. It is also at the end of the waterfront which gives it privacy but also perfect access.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. The hotel is in a superb location and the staff are all very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless with an amazing view and comfortable beds.

The location is perfect, breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, the staff were lovely, the hotel was stunning.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant, and even granted us extra time at the spa. Staying at this hotel will make you feel like you're in some Agatha Christie novel. The breakfast was delicious, the only thing we regret is not staying longer.

Wow wow wow! We upgraded to the lake view room and were on the fourth floor and the views were absolutely amazing! The lovely receptionist Paula was amazing - gave us recommendations for local restaurants and shops to visits. Will definitely return thank you.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with a lovely atmosphere. The surroundings were stunning, and the hotel itself felt elegant and well-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There are so many things to love about this hotel but if I have to pick the top three reasons, they would be: 1) The accessibility of the location - it was right in front of the ferry terminal so we do not have to wheel our heavy luggages up the cobbled stone steps. 2) The vibes - the lake view was fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful at night, the room size was just nice for couples. 3) The themed design - it was a family-owned heritage hotel and each rooms were thoughtfully designed with a mix of modern and traditional furnishings. You would not expect modern appliances (e.g. key card access, refrigerators) but it was unlike any other hotels we have stayed in and we appreciated the vintage furnishing all around the hotel. Bonus: Staff were all friendly and helpful.
