Great location. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile - real standout. Comfortable room with a nice little balcony from which to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the lake.

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. We never ate in the hotel but used one of their sister restaurants in Bellagio centre. They provided a shuttle bus service and the meal was excellent.

The hotel was superb, from start to finish. The staff were amazing so polite and friendly, they could not do enough for us. Food was excellent, room's clean and had everything you needed. Highly recommend 👌

The hotel’s atmosphere and overall appearance were exceptional. There was a wonderful selection of breakfast options along with fresh hot drinks each morning. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and featured an excellent shower. The bar staff were friendly, and it was lovely relaxing there in the evenings with a few drinks after a day out exploring. The hotel is around a 15–20 minute walk from Bellagio town centre. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Fabio, who recommended two fantastic restaurants connected to the hotel, both offering a 10% discount for guests. We visited Antico Pozzo Ristorante, and the pasta dishes were exceptional.

“Fantastic”

We stayed in room 22, we were a group of four. The room was spacious and clean, I stayed on the sofa bed which was comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic serving scrambled or boiled eggs with bacon, selection of cheeses and cold meats, pastry’s, cereal, yoghurts and small selection of gluten free bread. As the cooked breakfast was separate from other gluten items, the chance of cross contamination seemed small. The waiters were helpful and attentive and very friendly. We want to thank Andreena for being so friendly and helpful when we sat for drinks every night on the terrace, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Sitting on the terrace the views are fantastic. We also made use of the shuttle service as the walk to the hotel was about 15/20 mins and uphill. This cost €5pp per trip, and on the day of departure it was complimentary. We only wish we knew this was an option on arrival. Location is 15 minutes from Bellagio ferry but with the shuttle service this was not an issue at all. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Hotel Don Ferrante, the view from our room from the balcony onto the lake was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable it felt like sleeping on clouds! The staff are all fantastic and the reception team go above and beyond.

“Overbooking without prior notification”

This is the first time ever that happened to us. We arrived at the reception desk with our baby telling us the room is not available because a “system problem” with overbooking and we couldn’t stay there the whole period, even though everything was already paid in advance in full on Booking. It’s incredible how they don’t communicate this beforehand through a message or anything, even though the reservation was made weeks before. They offered to take us to a random apartment in city center that didn’t look that great. All this experience was so weird and never seen before. Don’t recommend this hotel just because of this communication issue from their side, hiding the truth until we arrived on the day of check-in.

The staffs were amazing.We practically know all their names Bianca, Juan, Marco,Thomas,Sarah, Andrea, Fabio and so many that we did'nt name here were all wonderful .Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one. Breakfast is also good with a view overlooking the lake.Its just wonderful.

Nice location though a bit far from the pier. Perhaps the hotel could arrange pick-up service from the pier upon arrival.
